Walking distance to restaurants and downtown movies theater

This hotel is old and so dated for $145 a nt I habe stayed at a hotel about a block from this one for $55 a nt and way better than this one.

The bed was worn-out the parking was not enough room for a truck the air conditioning did not work.

shower was not working properly. furniture was broken. overall hotel is not one i would recommend

I did not like the hotel and amenities. I would not recommend this hotel at all. Not clean, air conditioning in bad shape and Bed mattress worst.

This hotel was a total let down. The room and furniture looked old and it did not feel clean. Their were q-tips on the floor and stains on the walls. The carpet was gross and we had to wear flip flops the whole time to avoid walking on it. The shower head was absolutely awful and there was no water pressure at all. The paint on the bathroom door was chipped and peeling. The pillows were lumpy the beds were hard and we were woken up at 8:00 am to loud music and people at the pool yelling. The parking lot was a nightmare and parking at this hotel is not guaranteed, they have 50 guest rooms but only 35 parking spaces plus a restaurant and bar onsite so if you go out at night you have to park on the dark street when you return. Service in the restaurant was frustrating as it took almost 40 minutes after we ordered for us to get our breakfast. The only small highlight was that the staff was friendly and helpful. Overall disappointing and way over priced for the run down condition of the place. Ensenada is a charming lovely place to visit and I am sure we will return but we will not likely be staying here again.

Everything was perfect! We had breakfast at the restaurant and it was very good!

The rooms were not as expected, the towels had red dirty stains, they called me 3 times because my car alrm kept going off, helloooo it doesnt sound unless trying to open it... anyways for the sameprice could have stayed somewhere else.. pool was kind of dirty.

I travel to Ensenada often. This weekend happened to be the famous Rosarito-Ensenada bike ride where close to 10,000 riders make the 50-mile trek down the coast to Ensenada. Another hotel messed up our reservation and The Costa Baja bailed us out. The hotel just so happened to be right at the finish line and subsequent fiesta that followed. It was a great time. The room was average. However it was very clean. The staff was beyond helpful and courteous. They have a cool pool/jacuzzi area. We were hardly in the room and really did not care that it was not a resort type place. In fact that made it better for this trip. I give this 4-stars not because it's a 4-star hotel...but the service is 4-stars and perhaps even 5-stars. Very cool people there. Thank you Costa Baja!

I got there on a friday, non holiday, lighting sucks, airconditioner very noisy so old that when i turned the knob the face fell off, the condition should clue you in when you check in and you get a real key and the remote handed to you. Elevator would even shut all the way. Need to renovate entire bathroom and sink.

the location was great ,but the room needs a little be more, the food was ok

Overall d hotel was clean needs better beds and bedding they look old, the food at the restaurant is good and so was the pool, TV's are from the 1970's, but we had a great time.

I was very dissapointed by this hotel. When I arrived at the hotel it seemed rundown and old, the photos on the hotel website [...] were very decieveing. [...] When I got to my room I was even more dissapointed. The carpet was very dirty and soiled that I didn't walk on it without shoes. T he toliet seem to have issues with the water running all night. The shower was not cleaned well, the towels were dirty and looked like they were not cleaned properly, the beadspread was torn and seem to have some short of red stain. [...]I will never [...] stay at the Costa Baja Hotel. And further more I will inform my friends and family to stay away from this hotel in Ensenada [...].

Our room was just above the reception desk, near the bar, and over the pool area. Nearly all day long, and one night until 2200, loud music blared from one or other of these locations. Nearly impossible to get an afternoon nap. Other than that, the rooms were moderately clean and comfortable. Good location, very nice jacuzzi near pool, and the price was right.

My only but very bad experience was the life music at night not letting us get sleep. The service didn't care about customers advices to reduce the noise.

The room was nice and clean. The only problem was that from 12:00 to 3:00 AM there was so much noise that it was hard to sleep. Next time we will ask for an inside room.
