Welcome to Winter’s Retreat!

Relax on 32 acres of the Vermont Green Mountains, about 20 minutes from the Jay Peak ski resort. Enjoy walking on a logging trail that ventures into the property and relax on Adirondack chairs surrounding a fire pit that overlooks a Jay Peak landscape. Savor a cup of coffee on the patio overlooking our apple orchard.

The cabin sleeps four with a pullout sofa bed, features a full kitchen, washer and dryer, TV, full bathroom, and desk space for remote working.
The cabin is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and space to spread out with a separate bedroom. Guests can enjoy a Smart TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a fireplace, and a coffee maker.

Everything was great! I will say though, that the wood stove was kind of a pain with the smoke, but you have to make sure you follow the directions from the hosts on how to light it because its finicky. BUT, it sure kept the place toasty. Super cozy space and would love to stay there again in the future!

Great cozy place. My family of 4 stayed here to ski at Jay Peak, Mont Sutton and Owl’s Head (we have the Indy pass). This place is centrally located and was easy to get to all 3 ski resorts. It continued to gently snow and the roads were always plowed enough for us to get through. Downstairs sofa bed was very comfortable and the place had everything we needed (coffee, shampoo, conditioner, soap, and even hot coco!). The wood burning fire stove kept the downstairs nice and toasty (except the first night when we checked in - but we didn’t know how to properly use the stove and also the heater). We really enjoyed our stay here and hopefully we will visit again soon! Owners were very responsive whenever we reached out with any questions. Even when I struggled to lock the front door lol There was a payment issue (100% due to VRBO) and they were very understanding. Hoping VRBO will figure this out soon…… Thanks so much for a wonderful time!
