Good location for an overnight stay.

Lovely hotel on first impression and the staff are very efficient and friendly. The room was small and stuffy. Only one bedside table. Nowhere to put the suitcase, we had three small ones but only space for one.😐 The bathroom was large about half the size of the bedroom but there was nothing in it to put anything. No clothes hooks, nowhere to put toiletry bags. A very small wash basin with no towel rail. Lovely large shower but no rubber mat and it is slippery. Shower gel was lovely. The mattress was very soft and not very comfortable. 😕 The stairs were looking shabby and could do with a good clean. On the upside, the breakfast was excellent 👍 service and food choices and it was delicious 😋 Good parking 🅿️ and good location.

The hotel was a bit shabby - carpets not clean, cheap bed linen (for a 4* I’d expect cotton but they were polyester and unpleasant), plastic plants in the room, sachets of Nescafé - I mean, who would drink that today? I’d expect a coffee pod machine in a 4* hotel. Staff very nice, but doesn’t quite make up for a hotel that’s a bit poor. Good breakfast, but let down by poor coffee.

Arrived with a warm welcome. Everything clean & tidy. Any questions we had was answered. Only downfall was the room was very warm & had to turn on a fan & the duvet was too heavy for this time of year (June)

This hotel is marked as a 4 star property but our room was anything but, the floor was so wonky and squeaky and the bed moved every time you so much as moved, you felt drunk even if you hadn't had a drink! Our room was also tiny and our headboard shared a wall with the neighbours toilet, which left nothing to the imagination! We were also next to a communal doorway and the walls were paper thin so it was very noisy. It was fine for one night and it was all clean, but I would only be happy if I'd paid about £60 for it instead £133!! Not worth the money at all sadly.
