A nice view

It was all fine. Room was clean and the bed was comfy. Older property with steep stairs and no lift. The restaurant wasn’t open on the night I stayed. Staff were pleasant. WiFi didn’t work, asked twice and still didn’t work.

This is a beautiful hotel with charm and wonderful hospitality. We have stayed here 4 times and hope to have more visits, which would be easier if we lived closer. Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at this beautiful hotel. We had a superior room with a terrace with views of the sea, a fantastic evening meal, steak was delicious and cooked to perfection. The staff were very welcoming and helpful in any aspect of our stay. Will definitely return.

The staff are extremely friendly and the grounds are amazing to walk around. Absolutely beautiful and well kept building situated in a lovely part of Devon. Well worth to see well worth taking part two for a romantic time away.

Nice quiet location - lovely comfortable and plush communal lounge with roaring fire. Very pleasant and efficient staff. Dinner and breakfast top notch with an excellent range of choice. A definite go back to hotel. Only gripe was no lift.

Karen in reception greeted us when we arrived, very freindly, helpful, informative and showed us to our room. She also booked a taxi for us for the evening out. We had the most basic room. However it was perfectly comfortable and clean. Good Bathroom and comfy bed. The highlight is the the dining. First class evening dinner. Not cheap , but worth it. Breakfast for £10 was fabulous value. Would come back again.
