Spacious apartment in a great location
Antoinette met me at the apartment and clearly explained how everything worked. She is also very welcoming — there was a little vase with hydrangeas on the dining table, as well as little chocolates and hiking maps of the area. She also generously dropped me at the train station when I was leaving (the train station is only a 10 minute walk, but it was nice to have a lift).
The apartment is spacious and is located just across the river from the Titlis lift station (literally 1 minute walk), which is very convenient for going up Mt. Titlis or for doing various hikes, such as the 4 Lakes Hike. At the Titlis lift station there is also a stop for Bus 300, the free shuttle around town. This makes the location of the apartment very convenient for getting to the Brunni and Furenalp lift stations. The bed was comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was fabulous. The kitchen was well equipped. The only things I would like to see added to the kitchen are a pair of scissors and an ice cube tray. (And perhaps those were there and I just didn’t find them).
