The rustic but luxurious hotel was amazing with nicely-sized room & bath. The patio was large & quiet. Common areas were spacious & food was excellent. The only complaint was the shower which was a continuous dribble of water rather than a stream.

Great little oasis in the desert

A fantastic little farm off the beaten track in the Karoo. Rooms are spacious and well equipped with air conditioning and all the regular amenities. There is a lovely little swimming pool to cool off in and the farm animals around the rooms add to the charm of the place. The honesty bar is very welcome after a long hot drive through the Karoo and the food is delicious and plentiful. The only thing that could be improved is that breakfast should be included in the price as it’s not cheap accomodation and there is nowhere else to go to eat and no cooking facility in the rooms. You have to drive about 30km to find either a store or a place to eat.
