Low quality hotel

We booked a room for 2 nights only and it was a couple stay. In descriptions it was a room with 1 double bed - by fact there were 2 mattresses and no possibility to sleep together. So simply 2 differents beds. Bathroom was not cleaned at all, foot towel was dirty and a floor in bathroom was really dirty. Floor in room - ok. Towels - not ideal, but ok. Bed sheets - i can say more or less, but not that one you sleep with pleasure. In the room - no kettle, no tea, no water, no breakfast included. I would rate it as 3,5 out of 10. And for me for this price - you can stay here only if you cannot find at all anything more - as last chance to sleep somewhere.

The hotel did not meet our expectations

The hotel did not meet our expectations and was overpriced. The double bed were two single beds put together and were not attached. When we arrived all doors to the reception were locked and we called the number of the hotel and informed them that we wanted to check-in.

Simple by Okay

A small simple hotel, clean and simple with nothing to write home about. There is a restaurant (did not try but looks OK) and a beer garden and place for car parking behind. Room furniture is simple, no refrigerator or coffee making facilities. Room had twin beds but for single occupancy only one was made up with bedding. I believe that is the norm in small European hotels.

Great, until checkout, and having to pay 2nd time

The hotel is opposite the station, so easy to find. Great beer garden, the restaurant produced wonderful food, in large quantity. The only downside was at checkout, the owner was not happy about Hotels.com taking 18% commission, so insisted that I paid him direct and a rate higher than I had already paid to Hotels.com. Hopefully I will get my money back.
