Relaxing, low key vacation

Great location, well appointed house with all of the household items and beach needs for your family to enjoy a beautiful week at the beach. Owners are very attentive, and helpful to ensure you have a great vacation. House is situated in a community that allows for an evening walk, walkable to restaurants, ice cream shops and the fishing pier. You won’t be disappointed with your stay here or Emerald Isle. We would recommend No Wake Zone East!

Great location!

We loved the location of the house. It was great to be able to run up to the house to grab forgotten items or lunch. It was also an easy walk to many shops and restaurants. We would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun family vacation home at the beach

Perfect combo of luxury and comfort!

This property is in a prime location. It is close to shopping and restaurants and entertainment. The beachfront view is incredible. You feel like you are on the beach just sitting on the deck or in the living room. It is easy to watch the kids from the deck says grandma.The owner is instantly available and will be at your beck and call if anything is needed for your stay. She came by to introduce herself and was so helpful during our stay. We had a wonderful family vacation of 9 people which will hold some beautiful memories. Thank you Debbie! Your home is beautiful, luxurious, and comfortable.

Great stay for family beach week

I booked this property for my immediate and extended family and everything was wonderful. The place was very clean, had all the amenities we needed and was the right size for all 11 of us. It was close to shopping and restaurants as well. Our host, Debby, was wonderful. She explained everything about the property to us in person upon our arrival and even brought us a plate of home made brownies! Definitely recommend and will be booking again in the future.

Great Family Vacation Spot!!

Our family and friends had a wonderful time at this house which is in a GREAT location! Tons of room and space for all of the kiddos and very clean!! HIGHLY recommend and can’t wait to go back!

Emerald Isle Ocean retreat

Beautiful location and lovely property! Beach was steps away ; and the house was clean, well equipped and well-appointed. Owner was responsive to any issues. Would definitely come back again!

Beautiful views!

We very much enjoyed our stay! The location is perfect with stunning views and wonderful, quiet beach. The house was very nice. The delicious brownies Debby left us were fantastic and were a nice touch!

Everything We Wanted

We were very happy with this home - wonderful view and proximity to an uncrowded beach. Home was clean, kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable and everything was freshly updated. Minor quibbles were glitches with a couple of appliances, which the owner quickly resolved, and no sand toys, but we were able to retrieve our own from home. We would definitely stay here again! Everyone loved the large living room window!

GREAT FIND ON Emerald Isle!

House has recently been refurbished and it shows but although it's HUGE it doesn't feel like a stiff McMansion....you have the character, can treat you and many friends/family to luxury accommodations and let your cares drift into the ocean at your door front! Home owner was amazing and like your going to the beach to visit grandma who surprised you with homemade brownies! Couldn't recommend this place more and am so grateful homeowner accommodated us for a last minute peak season booking.

Family vacation

Very pretty, newly decorated home close to everything. We rented a golf cart as well which added an extra element to the trip. Adults and kids all enjoyed our stay and especially enjoyed waking up to the view every day. Kitchen was especially well stocked for a rental! Hostess was super responsive and helpful to questions about local spots.

Excellent view and location!

What a view! This house is located in the heart of Emerald Isle which makes getting to and from everything very easy. The view of the ocean more than makes up for the smaller bedrooms and lack of bathroom on the 1st floor. We had 2 families staying here for a total of 11 people and everyone had a bed to sleep in. The bunk room which is on the 1st floor had to share a bathroom with 2 other rooms on the 2nd floor. Since it was all kids it worked out ok, but it was still tight. The kids loved the outside shower so that worked out well. We had a serious problem with the dishwasher while we were there and with 11 people it was quite a hassle. We also had an issue working the thermostat but the owner was very prompt in responding and we finally figured it out. We were worried about staying in a duplex, we’ve never stayed in one before, but we never heard them at all, only saw them coming and going from the shared walkway to the beach. All in all we had a wonderful week enjoying the sights and sounds of the ocean. You won’t be disappointed if you book here. -The Ellis and Lloyd Families from Durham and Raleigh

Almost perfect

Clean, open and airy, with a great view and location, our only complaint, which the owner admitted and somewhat compensated, was low water pressure, which prevented proper operation of the dishwasher. But everyone agreed, nonetheless, that we thoroughly enjoyed the setting and accommodations. Assuming that the one problem is addressed, we would recommend it and would return.
