Pros: House was the perfect size for my husband and our 3 daughters. The location and proximity to the beach is amazing and made bathroom trips and cooler refills so easy. It’s literally steps to the ocean. Host was fabulous and super easy to deal with. Kitchen was fully stocked with all pots, pans, dishes, cooking utensils, etc. Beds and couch were super comfy. Nice sized yard and porch. Ample and easy parking. House is close to everything. Cons: The walls are very thin and you can hear the entire conversation your neighbor is having. We had no issue with this and our neighbors were great but some may. No washer and dryer. Pack toilet paper as the host only provides 1 roll. No broom or vacuum in unit. Tips for future visits: bring a broom to help with sand, and pack extra toilet paper/trash bags. Would 100% stay here again.

Beach House

Great location, just across from beach access. Excellent choice for 2 adults and a dog quick weekend getaway. Only minor complaint is supplies are pretty bare bones. If you plan to cook, suggest bringing anything you may need.

Nice home and great location. Internet connection was very poor. Television channels/streaming buffered so much you could not even watch an entire show without missing half of it. Needs improving.

Great spot!

Our side of the house was very cute and cozy. Great location across from the beach access and about a 12 minute drive to Publix/restaurants. We would recommend it although be aware that although we saw no mice, we heard skittering in the wall & some mouse poop in the kitchen by the sink. I’m sure this is not unusual for a beach house but we definitely cleaned anything we ate on or from. Other than that, it was perfectly lovely.

When we first arrived and walked in it is beautiful but the down fall was how musty the condo smelt. We opened the windows to try and help with our stay. I would suggest bringing an air purifier or if the host would provide possibly 3 (in the bedrooms and living room) that might help. I also would like to point out the baseboards and walls need a good wipe down and some attention in the bathroom (shower&tub) but other than that our family had a blast and the pictures are true! The location was ideal and easy access to the beach! We are hoping in the future to book again ☺️

Great location, house needs a little TLC

The location was great in regards to beach access. Most things in house were clean except the floors (sandy and dead bugs throughout) and some dirty dishes put back in cabinet. Couch was sandy and had pet hair on it. Wish it had a dishwasher. We rented both sides and liked the connector doors. The charcoal grill is about rusted through so that may need replacing. We had a good time though.

Wonderful Duplex

This was a very cute and quaint duplex just a few steps away from the beach. The location is perfect, host was spectacular to work with, and the house was very clean. Highly recommended!!!

Perfect For Two & Dogger Too!

I'm a Downeast Carolina Girl that has a softspot for this type of simple, no frills, beach cottage with it's old Carolina architecture, so I was thrilled to find this lovely place, in my favorite location on the island. It was even sweeter that my best dogger buddy, Rocky, could join us on our impromtu visit to the coast. This recently updated cottage was clean, comfortable and just steps away from the beach across the street. I'll be back!

Short walk to the beach!

The host was very responsive to any questions I had. We loved that it was pet friendly. We could see the peach from the porch. We would definitely stay again!

Cute, clean, basic

This is a nice property. It was clean and nicely decorated. There were plenty of linens. The beach is beautiful and across the street. No washer/dryer or dishwasher which keeps it from being a 5 for the cost.

Easter getaway

We will definitely be saving this location for future beach trips! The property manager was awesome about letting us know check-in and check-out procedures ahead of time. The location can’t be beat, and the house was perfect size for a family getaway!
