Nice little hotel

Great little hotel in an ideal location right in the town centre. The breakfast which was taken in the connecting restaurant next door was simple but very nice. Free parking was available nearby by the Police station. Our room was adequate but slightly disappointing as it was very hot and there was little ventilation.The bathroom was small but had a lot of dust behind the door. Other friends who stayed seemed to have better rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Although we had booked a twin bed room. The booking didnt appear on the hotel computer. But the manager sorted us quickly in to a triple room with 2 beds. Very good.

Although the people appeared nice the Breakfast was minimal few selections, you could get no extra pillow extra towel or blankets. Their excuse was the hotel was full. The rooms were small and had no view and no fresh air coming in.

Hotel in Embrun

Clean, well located hotel. Only issue is thought we had reserved parking space in their garage and turned out there was no space. eE-mail correspondence on my part confirmed need for space but explanation from desk on arrival was the e-mails asking for such details are automatic and no one takes responsibility for that communcation. Wouldn't have been an issue re parking ordinarily except that we arrived on market day.

Excellent location

The hotel is conveniently located In the historic center of town. The room was small but comfortable and furnished with everything necessary. The staff is professional, and there is secure bicycle parking in a nearby garage.

The location was central, staff was great and helpful. The reception is open for only few hours, so be sure to look in advance. Plenty of free parking a short walk away. Overall a good place to stay in a small town.

Hotel de la Mairie - nice but noisey neighbourhood

Whilst the Hotel is clean & comfortable, it may not suit all tastes. We stayed in a newly refurbished en-suite room which was good. However, as there is no air con, it can get somewhat hot in summer. As we had to leave window open, the hustle and bustle of the square was evident. We were party to a music festival 2 nights in the square which while nice, meant 1pm ish aftermath babble. The market starts setting up in the square Weds & Sats at about 4am. The town clock next door chimes on the hour & half hour. The food in the hotel restaurant was excellent and we would recommend. There are plenty of others around to vary things a bit. There are no lifts in the hotel which may be an issue for some as the stairs are quite steep.

La salle de bain minuscule pour rentrer dans la douche on se tape de partout certains éléments de la colonne de douche cassé et rouillé, papier toilette de très mauvaise qualité, le lit est extrêmement dure et on entend chaque bruit des voisins la nuit a été très courte d’autant plus que la lumière du jour était très présente. Je ne referais pas.
