A once distinctive property with many lovely traditional Portuguese features Rooms were large and clean However the building and grounds require maintenance and upgrading and basic TLC This could be a stunning hotel It probably once was but is stuck in a time warp Staff we’re polite and helpful Breakfast was bad

Still retains the charm of a Pousada

This was our second stay at this Hotel, our previous being some years ago when it was a Pousada. Thankfully it has still retained its charm and we were not disappointed. Perfectly placed for a walk into the town, and an added bonus to have a small balcony we could sit on in the evening....... definitely recommend it!

Hotel de referencia para próximas visitas.

Hemos estado MUY AGUSTO. It is a very nice hotel to stay, small and familiar. Fantastic. On the other hand, they have worked hard on covid issues, everthing is super-clean, food is perfectly isolated. We usually stop in Elvas or Badajoz when we go on holiday to the south of Spain or Portugal. I guess it will be our stop in next journeys.
