Friendly staff! Clean and comfortable! Cookies and popcorn were great! Breakfast was good. Wish you had real butter as well. Some people prefer margarine but others prefer the real thing.

Needed an elevator. Or if it had one. Wasn’t easy to find

Nothing special but just a nice overall motel. I wound stay again

We did have a problem with the sink backing up and there was only one person Staffing the desk so she couldn't leave or call anyone to help us. We ended up going and finding a plunger in their utility room and doing it ourselves. And while I was taking a shower I think the person next door flush their toilet and my shower turns scalding hot. I've never had that happen in a hotel where the water pressure was affected by other people around you. I was so startled I screamed and grab the shower curtain to avoid getting burnt and then almost slipped trying to get out of the tub. It could have been a very dangerous situation. That was the only really bad thing that happened. Other than that we slept well and we're very comfortable the location was great. Breakfast was fair.

We found Econo Lodge comfortable and quite for our short stay. Affordable and convenient to nearby dining.

I needed good basic accommodations for a one night stay close to my plant 30 minutes away. Econo Lodge Painted Post was a good choice. Quiet, retaurants near by and highway nearby soit was easy for me to get back on my way.

We were just looking for warm room and hot shower after 3 days of chilly camping. But we were pleasantly surprised at this reasonably priced hotel. Large TV, clean and modern facilities. Were not expecting breakfast however continental breakfast (free) was extensive. Front desk recommended Applebee's and gave us 10% off coupon for dinner. Bathroom sink showed its age but that was a very small issue.

No inconveniences. Breakfast available at an early hour for quick getaway (6 a.m.). Staff friendly and service efficient.

Very conveniently located from Corning museum of glass

Hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff was extremely courteous and super nice! They were so accomdating to our lil dog!

Arrived on a holiday weekend and as sometimes happens with an online booking our non-smoking room was a smoking room. The evening manager couldn't find another room at first due to heavy booking, but took the extra step of calling her boss at home who approved an override and we had our room. The staff was that helpful or better the entire stay. Nice location, convenient to major highways and most features in the area. A definite economy class hotel, but clean and the breakfast was always stocked, nicely kept and clean of clutter. The staff acted like one big family and made our stay an awesome value. Nothing fancy except the money we saved and the service which excelled!

Initially I was a little concerned with the review. However, I was pleased once we checked in. Had no issues, front desk staff very friendly. Very nice breakfast, overall very nice stay.

I ordered two non-smoking room and it turned out to be smoking. I talked with staff and they didn't change for me

We only stayed here for one night. The staff were very kind and knowledgeable. they did provide popcorn and free movie disks for the night as mentioned on their website... and the free breakfast is awesome! Only one thing unexpected: we booked two non-smoking room but the one we actually wanted to live with our baby (with two queen beds) turned into a smoking room as they told us all the other non-smoking rooms were sold out! Beyond that, everything else was good.

The location is ok, little difficult to navigate, sink needs repairing, also light switch. Breakfast was very good.

While we didn't pay a ton for this hotel, I feel that for what we paid, it should have displayed better cleanliness and a MUCH more comfortable bed. Don't get me wrong - the room wasn't filthy, but it certainly didn't feel clean. It had a very dank smell at first, which improved greatly by turning on the AC (it was off when we entered the room). The bed was truly the hardest I had ever slept on, and I greatly regretted not bringing our own pillows. The staff didn't stand out as poor or extraordinary, but the breakfast was decent. We appreciated having more thank cold cereal and bagels (there were French toast sticks, sausage links, waffles, cold cereal, bagels, hard boiled eggs and juice). Some fruit and/or yogurt would have been nice. Overall average for the value. We would probably not choose it again if another hotel in the area fit our needs,

While our overall experience was good, there was an incident with the 2nd shift front desk employee. The hotel gives out free popcorn and while trying to figure out how to open the machine to dispense the popcorn, the front desk man yells across the lobby very rudely, "If you open the door, the popcorn comes out much better!!" I would have apprecited it if he would have not been so rude and used a little more tact.
