Wonderful cabin! And yes- gravel drive is steep but with a four wheel drive there are no issues.
Beautiful secluded cabin.

Seclusion!
This was an excellent home base for our activities during the week. The cabin was clean and was as VRBO described it, including the steep drive! We had to park at the base of the driveway! It was described as perhaps needing a four-wheeled drive and my Traverse just could not do the job. Was not a big deal and we would be glad to rent the cabin again in the future.

Piss Poor worst VRBO YET!!
The property was not ready when we arrived despite having been sent a message that it was ready. Upon arrival property was full of smoke smell even though it’s supposed to be non-smoking property. property was a filthy mess, not cleaned properly lipstick on pillowcase, hair in bedsheets. it was clear the sheets were not changed, we were told by management company they would make arrangements to compensate after we called and voiced our concerns and asked to be transferred to another unit. and they did nothing. There is a shower in one of the bedrooms and the smell of sewage was so bad we had to plug the drain in order to stay in that room. Property is on a septic system, and clearly needs to be emptied. this was by far the absolute worst stay we’ve had. The only thing that saved our trip was the fact of the beautiful surroundings at outlying areas.

Long weekend getaway
Amazingly clean! The property staff did a excellent job preparing the house for our visit and check in was very simple. The pictures don’t do it justice and the view of the creek from the deck and patio is great. As everyone else has mentioned the driveway could be a concern in winter for some people. Overall 5 stars and will stay again.

Very Cozy Mountain Cabin
The cabin was in a great location and very comfortable. We were able to enjoy a wonderful snow and stayed warm with the wood stove.
We would not have accessed the cabin in the snow without a four wheel drive.

Great stay for Christmas
Property was clean and stocked as listed. Quiet area with nice scenery, very picturesque. It took a bit to figure out the process for heating but by day 2 we had it figured out (run basement heater to heat the whole house). Entertainment devices were abundant. Kitchen well equipped. 2 fire pits available but as we had snow and subzero temperatures we weren’t able to take advantage. We were warned about the steep driveway and that was not an exaggeration. But with a 4WD and being a gravel driveway it was not a problem. Not a complaint per se but biggest drawback was proximity to activities in town. We wanted seclusion and got that, but later found ourselves wanting to be closer to shopping and restaurants, even if only 5 or 10 minutes away as we were. But not a big deal. Only other matter was the layout of master bedroom. We would have preferred a smaller bed to avoid having to crawl around to get to both sides. And there’s no shower on main level with the master.
However these were minor issues that didn’t detract from our Christmas holiday weekend. We had a great time and would definitely recommend.

Love the place!
My husband and I , along with our pup, spent a couple of days there. We all had a great time! Very clean and decent cookware (which isn't always the case with rentals) Bonus - the glassed in sunporch just off the living area was such a pleasure .
I will say that the 'warning' about the driveway is accurate. We made it in a front wheel drive but wouldn't recommend trying so in inclement weather. Need a 4WD - Altogether a great place!
