Pink Sands Resort4.0 out of 5.0

Pink Sands is a long time favorite. On the plus side the staff is excellent, particularly Karen Turnquest who has helped us for years. We also saw our former Pink Sands friends Peter at Coral Sands and Christopher at Aqua Pazza. Chef Foxx, at Pink Sands, has developed some great dishes using the local produce. We stayed in Abaco, which has been updated and definitely recommend it. Pink Sands is clearly in transition as available land is being slowly developed but the Beach remains as beautiful and secluded as ever. The downside is the continuity of the top management which feels like it has changed every time we return. The resort needs a long time manager that is dedicated to it and its history. We realize that this is difficult as island fever can take its toll. Still, we will continue to return.
the staff at the Pink Sands could not be friendlier and more helpful. the rooms have been redone but that its for compliments. compared to other top properties on the island this resort is very tired. When we walked around we just looked at the potential. the pool is very uninviting. water is very salty and hard to use to brush teeth. need plenty of bottled water.
This is the third time I come back and I honestly this is my fave place to stay in Harbor Island. It's the elegance and cool vibe that makes recommend Pink sands for all those who really want to discover a special place. The warmth and professionalism of Fergus and manager Kym makes everything unique and unforgettable, a homey feeling. A truly version of what paradise should be.Kudos to the Blue bar crew (they're all so friendly!), and the two young men at the beach for making sure all needs were covered and the dinners at Malcom 51 that made my days special (chef Fox you nailed it!!).
Pink sands is a true example of excellent hospitality! The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. All the staff ensured that we had wonderful holidays, all respect to the general manager Mr Kym to ensure our stay was wonderful , cheers to Mr Fergus for his warm personality and always on top of our needs, The beach attendant Mr.Nathan deserve a special thanks, to chef Jed for his delicious master pieces of food, to Mr Larry, the bar man at the Blue Bar for his contagious smile and delicious cocktails, without a doubt Pink Sands is the best hotel in Harbor Island and Is returning to its former glory, We truly enjoyed our stay in this hotel! thank you!!
Back on track is the title because this was our third visit to Pink Sands resort with our last one at two years ago. Virtually everything has been changed or upgraded for the better, and one thing that never changes is that this resort is on the world famous Pink Sands Beach, one of the most spectacular beaches in the world and a regular on the Conde Nast annual top 20 ever since they started keeping track. New management has made it’s expert mark on everything but the natural wonders of the tropical ocean landscape this property is privileged to occupy. Named for its founder, the highly upgraded signature dinner restaurant Malcolm 51 ranks as one of the top dining spots on the island. The decor is an old world colonial and tropical blend giving it a romantic and lush island atmosphere. It ranks with the best of the islands culinary efforts and its world class creative cuisine is enhanced by knowledgeable, attentive and sincerely friendly staff at all levels of service. The resorts breakfast and lunch venue Blue Bar is also serving enviable food with attentive staff . It’s location up on the beach bluff with a vast oceanic view is a spectacular venue to enjoy it’s great food and service. The beach shack has all of the toys and creature comfort‘s to make a spectacular beach even better With ever present and highly helpful staff. The Villas and beach cottages sit on the best grounds and landscapingHarbour Island has to offer .
I stayed here for business, and I just wanted to say that all the staff members are extremely friendly and helpful. Not only did they make my stay memorable, but they went out of their way to make me feel like a local. The beaches are clean, pristine, and gorgeous. Will visit again!
Harbor Island is a true authentic gem and you would want to come back, the staff here were very nice, polite and friendly, the room was very spacious, clean and comfortable, such an excellent location for a resort.
I stayed at the Pink Sands resort when I visited Harbour Island last week and I absolutely loved it! What an idyllic place!! The cottages on property are so spacious, comfortable, clean and with an amazing view!! The property is huge, with natural beauty and a casual feel to it. The Pink Sands beach is to die for... :) The entire staff all the way up to the GM made my stay unforgettable. They were extremely personable and attentive. If you are going to Harbour Island, stay at the Pink Sands resort... You wont regret it! I recommend to check out Blue bar and Malcolm 51... Food and drinks are delicious.
Harbor island is a true authentic gem and you would want to come back again and again! Pink Sands is such a hidden treasure! We stayed at ocean view Cabbage Cay - unparalleled experience! Most friendly staff and remarkable maid service.
I've been to Harbour Island may times and have stayed in several different places. I always seem to come back to Pink Sands. It is on a huge piece of property, and has one or two bedroom cottages that are scattered around. The ocean view cottages have a fantastic unobstructed view of the water. The staff is very friendly, as is everyone on the island. They are in the midst of remodeling the cottages, and have done a fantastic job. I recommend it highly and am looking forward to returning next year.
