Great resort, nice and quiet, at the southern end of the coast and well away from Sharm. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, staff are really friendly and the food is excellent and plentiful. The spa and beauty salon are excellent value for money and very professional. The on site shops are really good, especially the perfume guy (who will give you tea and philosophy along with a huge array of perfumes and scents) and the jewellery shop (if you are lucky you might get to meet the owners nephew who is super cute), but beware the chap in the galabiya shop who will try it on. Trips out are limited but the Coptic church in El Qusier and the “no haggle” shop are must sees.
We had 3 weeks at this hotel in January, weather during the day was hot but windy turning a lot cooler in the evening.We were given a lovely room with a king sized comfortable bed not far from the pool area and the restaurant. We had a kettle and facilities for making a drink in the room ( though I did take my own coffee as I prefer Nescafe Gold blend) and sugar, teabags, milk was available in the restaurant and could be kept cool in the fridge in the room. There is a free safe in the wardrobe (always a plus as far as I'm concerned, it means the hotel takes the safety of you valuables seriously). The food was good, though not everything to our taste nevertheless we could always find something good to eat. The staff were obliging and attentive, very friendly and most spoke good English. The animation team tried to involve people in a variety of activities and provided music, quizzes etc. in the evening. There was the usual belly dancing and whirling dervish evenings both of which we had seen before but entertaining just the same.we did not snorkel on this occasion but were told that snorkelling was good and ther is a PADI facitity in resort. All in all a very enjoyable holiday.
We spent 8 days here on the 1/2 board plan which included breakfast and dinner. The food was superb with plenty of choices and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Our room was spacious with a balcony and faced the pool with the Red Sea as a backdrop. We enjoyed snorkelling in the water just off the hotel beach; saw many Maxima Clams and beautiful fish, but unfortunately noticed people with fins on damaging the corals, the Hotel should prohibit the use of fins within the shallow reef area! Several times we walked into El Quseir to tour the town, and even though you have to sign a waiver when leaving the hotel, at no time did we feel unsafe in El Quseir.
Arrived back from Egypt a few days ago having travelled with SAGA group. There were no safety issues either at Hurghada Airport or when travelling further afield. We were perfectly safe the whole time we were there. Radison Blu Hotel is set in beautiful landscaped gardens leading to a very fine beach. It is a very nice hotel with excellent management and staff who "will go the extra mile" to ensure a happy and relaxing stay for their guests. (Due to General Manager example and influence). Food is delicious boasting a vast array of dishes to suit all tastes and nationalities. Rooms are spacious with good hanging space in wardrobes. Rooms are cleaned everyday. The animation team (Tito, Achmed, Ferris & Mido) work hard to organise events and create a warm, fun and friendly atmosphere. We would highly recommend a visit to The Fort in El Quesir arranged by Mohammed the SAGA rep. We would also recommend a trip into the town which is a short taxi ride away. You will find a warm welcome awaiting you by the locals including mothers and children. Just outside of the Radison to the right are two nice cafe bars should you want a short walk or change of scenery. Tip: If you visit in January take a couple of jumpers/cardigans and a torch as it is dark early evening and can be chilly.
The food at this hotel is of cruise ship standard, choice, variety and quality. Buffet style, which makes for a less relaxing experience but they do also have a Speciality restaurant where you can be spoilt. The staff are lovely, attentive and friendly without being in your face. There were some issues with our room (needed extra pillows, light not working) but one phone call to reception and no longer than 15 minutes later all resolved. We were lucky that the hotel was not full, I am sure that the experience in high season is different, but there are so many different areas, corners, quiet places, you should always be able to find a corner just to yourself. And then there was the Spa! I arrived with a terrible bad back and went to see the team at the Spa. After explained my problem I bought a 3 massage package, which was excellent value, and was treated by Timo. He was amazing and by the time I left, my back felt better than it has done for months. Not a lot of English but amazing skill and I was able to talk to the Spa manager about my problem so no issue with that. I probably wouldn't enjoy it so much in high season, as likely to be really busy but would certainly return at this time of year. A real treat.
Dear Trip Advisors clients, Before getting into details kindly note that we went to the Radisson from end of December to early January 2017/2018. How can we explain you our stay... I thing that the best way will be with the bullet points below and pictures: - Room quiet requested as my wife was pregnant. We get allocated next to the swimming pool, bar and restaurant. - WiFi: not working at all, always disconnected - SPA: Make sure you ask for the type of massage before, otherwise, they will do what they want. Music during the massage ? Will be better to bring your own music as their CD as 3 songs on it. In addition to that, towels are not changed between guests. Where do they place the cream pot during the massage, on your butt directly !!!! - You want to spent New Year there ? If you want to enjoy the show (be well placed in the restaurant).... I do not have a solution. - You have planned a trip with a breakfast box. Make sure this one will be stored in a fridge, that was not our case. - Best wake-up call: lawnmower at 08:00am. - Bottle of waters, out of consumption date (I do not know until when you can drink water). - Is there a fitness there ? Yes but you may have to wait to find an available machine as everything is broken. This should have been build in the 50's.... Good things about the hotel: - Waiters are friendly - Rooms are big enough Looking at the other comments we have been not lucky but I thought that our experience was useful for others.
Nice hotel in a nice spot. The best part is the staff. The staff are very friendly. The general manager made our visit really great. He is found everywhere to check the flow of work done. He is caring about customer satisfaction. The only con is no much facilities around the hotel. In general, it is a virgin area to spend a relaxing gateway vacation.
We stayed at the Radisson Blu for one week. We really enjoyed our stay there. We have booked a week with halfboard, which was totally enough for us. First we had a room which was not as we exoected, but as the qualified staff took care of it immediately, it didnt affect our stay. All the staff is super friendly from the heart and taking great care of the guests. The hotel itself is very clean, everything you need is provided. Also i love the hotel so much because it is quiet and not one of those many all inclusive palaces, where you are tortured with ugly music and action all day long. The spa is also really nice. Thank you to Momen, the front desk staff and the executive chef for the great week! If you are in that area, I also recommend to go to Sataya to snorkel or dive with the dolphins. The Red Sea has great lively and healthy reefs and a big range of marine life. We booked our tour via FTI, which was nice,because it was a small group of just 10 pax and we had the best diveguide !!! We also booked a safari to the desert, which we didnt enjoy so much because it was very touristy. When we come back to egypt, we will definitely stay with you again :)

We have just returned from our second stay at the Radisson Blu at El Quseir. It was wonderful. The staff are very friendly, the rooms are superb and clean, the views are fantastic. The water is amazingly clear. All in all another fantastic stay. Just sad I'm back at home now and not still there! Only comment would be the people from the Spa or the Salon. If you say no one day, please respect the wishes of the guests and don't keep coming back for three days trying to tout for business.
