A perfect hotel for anyone looking for great service, fantastic pools and spas, beach access, and central to many shops and boardwalk attractions. The multilingual staff is excellent and the upper floor rooms are 5 star as well as the breakfast.
Nice room, nice surroundings, the only disappointment was the WiFi which was erratic. The food and the service were good. We were there for New Years Eve , so their prices were higher than usual. We still managed to have a good time, but had to go elsewhere for wifi.
It is not often I write a review of a hotel whilst staying but I felt given this is not my first experience at the Royal Beach Eilat and each time gets better and better I should spare a few minutes to give credit where credit is due. Hotels in Eilat are predominantly not of a high standard and sell themselves mostly to the Israeli market. The Royal Beach is a hotel that is of international standard and quality. In all my visits the food has been of a very high gastronomic level, the swimming pools are great with waterfalls and rockface, the rooms (especially the renovated ones) are everything you would expect from a 5 star hotel. I should also mention the spa which is really quaint, relaxing and a great list of treatments. What I like about the hotel in particular is the staff - they have a real 'can do' attitude and when a problem arises it is dealt with straight away. This is a sign of a hotel that understands hospitality. Problems will always arise, its the speed and professionalism in which they are resolved that is important. If you are travelling to Eilat the only hotel that is of a true international standard with a fresh and unique approach to Israel is the Royal Beach. I would like to also commend the staff on the great job they do to make everyones time here a true vacation. Great food, amazing pools, high quality rooms, brilliant location, impressive spa, employees who care and finally a management team who know how to manage a 5 star hotel. I will be back!
Rooms and bed very spacious, bathroom well equiped, food tsty and bountifull, great pool and red sea shore. Peacefuul and quiet in israeli standards. Gave it only 4 stars for lack of evening entertainment.
We ordered the family room and when we arrived to the room it had a very bad cigarette smoke smell... We had to leave the hotel as they continued with the worst service by not replacing the room. It isn't our first time in this hotel so we can tell the trend is very bad. This isn't a 5+ star hotel anymore! We will not come back!
I wish there were incremental options for rating on Trip Advisor because Royal Beach Eilat is between 3 and 4. The location is very good, right in the middle of the beach with views on one side to Jordan and Egypt down the other. The rooms have recently been redone and were pretty nice although the bed was uncomfortable and the linens had no crispness to them at all. The view was very nice, up on the 10th floor with a view of the beach. Coming from a ground floor room in Jerusalem, this was very welcome. It was lovely seeing the harbor at night and in the morning upon waking. The concierges were nice, the front desk people were fine. The breakfast was fine. The restaurant for lunch makes a great greek salad with delicious cheese but the service two times was very slow even though there was hardly anyone there. I'm not sure what other hotels there are in Eilat, this was done through our group so I'm unable to say if I would go back. It depends what other properties are around. After difficulty getting upstairs because some of the elevators require a key pass which mine wouldn't work for, I finally got up stairs to find my electronic key wouldn't work. So frustrating but luckily there was a phone nearby and the front desk sent up someone with new keys. I did like the room and the view. The bathroom was pretty nice although some quirky things around the shower ledge that could be problematic for an elderly person.
Sher could really mix an awesome drink, very friendly Lovely scotch on the rocks! Spoke lovely English! Deffinately return! And she makes a lovely cappuccino! Works long days and stays cheerful! !!! Staff make the hotel!
We return to the royal beach again and again and the standard is always high and rewarding. We reserved a presidential room which is located on the top floor. The room is big and has everything you would expect, the highlight is the porch with beautiful view to the Red Sea. The pool area is wonderful with shade and chairs around. There is no loud music or pool activities, I could sit for hours with a book just relaxing. Breakfast is very good with very nice variety of salads, cheese, fish and sweets. Service is exceptional with a smile and always looking for a way to please the guests
