We booked a room with balcony and view on the sea above 3rd floor. Worth the money indeed because incredibly beautifull. Also the gym with 180° view on the sea and good machines. The food is really what was the best : we have been to many top level Kosher Hotels but here we were really surprised by the variety and the quality of the food. Not so easy to cook at such level foods from so different origins.
Visited Leonardo Plaza Eilat with my wife and kids. As always, a perfect experience. Starting with the reception people, the food staff, the cleaners, entertainment crew and everyone else who did their utmost to make our stay a most enjoyable one. Can't wait for our next visit.
We were in Israel visiting family and had a fee days of quiet in Eilat planned. We chose to splurge a bit for this part of our trip and stay in what was supposed to be one of the best hotels in Eilat. I regret it a little, but it had its good points too. ROOM: It is a shame because you can tell that 20 years ago, this hotel was magnificent. The reception lobby etc are all beautifully kept, but this does not extend to the rooms. It seems they have not done anything in over 20 years. Rooms were very dated and old, half falling apart! TAbsolutely NOT what I would expect for a 5* hotel. he website claimed that they were recently renovated but this cannot be true. All they have done is put new bedding and pillows and new curtains. The bathroom did not seem very clean. The balcony was okay, great view over the pool and sea with the beautiful Moab mountains in the background glowing red in the sun. But the balcony was not at all private - you could see people in the next balconies along all across the side of the building. The food was nice and there was a great selection, but it did feel like feeding time at the zoo, with hundreds of people crammed into the dining area and screaming kids everywhere. Pool area seemed nice but avoided due to noisy kids. The beach in front of the hotel was a real benefit and was nice and clean. The location was good - very central, easy to walk to the magic fountain and to the malls and 2 mins to the promenade. Yet luckily, not too noisy. On balance would come back again, but certainly not for the price we paid - maybe half.
We come from London to visit our friends . They book this "5 star "hotel for 4 nights for 2 adult and 2 kids for 8,385 shekil £2,000. Rooms are so dirty ,sofa bed with huge marks of kids wet wee and didn't even cover this .Also dirty bed sheets with oil Mark's on it. Our kids expected to sleep on sofa without bed sheets as we ask 3 times and they answer: once we have soneone available they will bring it. From 15:00 until 23:20 we was waiting until my Israeli friend go downstars to complain. Corridors very dirty that's look like never been hoovered since we arrived until we left. The personal who was cleaning room we saw them serving in the restaurant as well . Hotel was not organised at all! POOR WORKERS WAS THE SAME PEOPLE WHO CLEANES,WAITERS EXC. FOOD WAS NOT TOO BAD, APART FROM BEING NOT CLEAN SPECIFICALLY TABLES TO CUTLERIES, COMPLETLY WORST 5 STAR EXPERIENCE. OUR FRIENDS HAD MANY COMPLAINTS TO THE HOTEL STAFF AS THEY WERE SO SAD THAT THEY HAVE BOOKED THIS HOTEL.
Good location right on the promenade, varied food, but The hotel is noisy The carpets in the rooms are very dirty. Old-fashioned furniture closet door is stuck A crowded dining room. You have to improve if you want to get good recommendations
If you are traveling with children this hotel is perfect. The location is the best but what really stands out is the high level of service. Danny at the reception went out of his way to help us with all our last minute requests. He was friendly and I was amazed how he followed through on everything. The lobby staff was great as well as the dining room staff. The food was abundant and delicious. I would definitely recommend this hotel just for those reasons alone.
What a great place a to stay after traveling around Israel. We happened to be there on Independence Day for israel and the atmosphere was patriotic. The staff throughout the hotel were great and accommodating.
Our family stayed at the Leonardo Plaza for one night prior to entering Jordan and had the half board option. The food was very good. We enjoyed swimming in the Red Sea. Three family members shared a suite that had a beautiful large balcony. Beds were comfortable, Hotel was not especially clean which bothered some of our family members and the fold out bed was quite uncomfortable because of the fold in the center.
We stayed here on a recent trip as a base to see Petra. We loved the location on the Red Sea. The views are nice and the pools are gorgeous. We enjoyed the lively night activities outside the hotel on the boardwalk area as well. The food was delicious and each meal had a gigantic spread. We enjoyed eating on the patio. I would easily recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the area.
We spent 2 nights in this lovely hotel and we enjoyed it from the first second till the last one. The service at the reception and in the restaurant was excellent and really quick. In the morning we enjoyed the breakfast with live music. Dinner was amazing with a lot of choices and you could choose if you want to seat insider or outside. The pool area beautiful and clean. The best for us was the nice room. It had an amazing view facing the sea. Hotel is located next to the beach. Defenetly one of our best hotels we stayed in.
