Best place to stay in Eilat!

The Garden Residence is perfect for a more private vacation stay without the hustle and bustle of a normal hotel. David, the owner, does an exceptional job with the entire process from check in to telling us where to eat, recreate, etc., truly top of the line service! The place is clean, nice finishes, well built, and has all of the amenities that you would ever need, including a private patio to cook, to a pool & hot tub to splash around in. We highly recommend this place to all visitors! We will be coming back! Thanks for hospitality David!!

The owner is a cheater

We booked a 3 Bedroom Apartment and when we arrived at the Apartment the owner said as you’re only two People you can use only one Bedroom and closed the other 2 Bedrooms with a key.There was no Dishwasher and no Washing Machine for the Laundry. The Dishes we wanted to use were dirty, we had to wash them before using. And there were no Towels around either to dry dishes or to dry our hands, only 2 bath towels. We left the Apartment very clean even we washed the dishes we used and at the end we saw that the owner charged us around 90$ for cleaning fee. We got the Bill after we left his place so thought it was a misunderstanding, but no, the owner said that he needs 4 Hours to clean the room/Apartment inkluding one hour for outside which he knew we didn‘t even use. 4 Hours to clean a Bedroom a Bath and common living area that we left very clean? The only thing he needed to do was to change the Bed sheets, as we didn‘t use any outdoor or anything. This was the most expensive place we stayed in Israel. We got charged 170$ per Night + 90 Dollars cleaning fee in addition to that. After the owner wrote me that he was cleaning the Apartment from 11.30-15.30 I responded that he shouldn‘t be lying, after that he got very mad at me and refused any further communication. If the owner wants to charge that much money then the place should be spotless, including the dishes for the guests.Very disappointed from this experience
