I have stayed at this chain several times over the years. Always accommodating. I would like to extend a special thanks to Anat at the reception desk in Eilat. Anat solves the more intricate issues with an unusual professionalism and understanding. She is a problem-solver, and a multi-tasker. I watched her help several people at once, where noone felt compromised. She is an example to junior staff members. In short, she is a wonderful ambassador for the Dan Panorama chain.
My wife and I stayed 2 nights at the dan panorama. Very comfortable hotel; lots of kids as it is a resort hotel. We were touring and were surprised the breakfast room opened at 7am whereas their other hotels open at 6.30 am. They kindly prepared a brekky pack the day we went to Petra in Jordon and we squeezed in a 15min brekky on the day we returned to Tel Aviv. Nice clean hotel.
Mixed experience. Good breakfast. Definitely a family hotel. Nice service touches like complimentary fruit and ice cream at pool. Very responsive to requests for help like bringing more towels, providing a hand held hairdryer, and resetting the safe. Wi-Fi is slow and unreliable. Towels were thin. Manager acknowledged and said improvements were happening.
After driving 3-1/2 hours through the Negev Desert, we suddenly arrived at Eilat, Israel, which looked like Las Vegas, without the Casinos. Beautiful large hotels, located on the Red Sea, are Vegas-like. The hotel room was beautiful, with a large balcony which overlooked a Marina on the Red Sea, and the airport runway. The bed was extremely large, and comfortable, and the bathroom very nice. We used this hotel as a jumping off point to visit Jordan, specifically Petra, and it fit the bill perfectly. After touring all day, we came back to the hotel and enjoyed the bar, which included a wonderful cheese plate, and then, ice cream. The bartender, a new Ukrainian immigrant was excellent. He couldn't do enough to satisfy our every whim. It was great. The buffet for breakfast, or dinner, was spectacular. We've never seen so many choices to eat at any buffet, anywhere in the world, and that includes Vegas. Not only quantity, but the quality of the food was exceptional. Overall, having booked the hotel off of Trip Advisor reviews, I agree with most of my fellow reviewers, that this hotel, the Dan Panorama Eilat, is a gem, and we are SO HAPPY we chose it to be our "home" in the southerly tip of Israel. If you're going to Eilat, you definitely should stay at the Dan Panorama Eilat hotel. By the way, ask for a room on a high floor, for a better view from your private patio.
Ordered 3 nights in a suite. Upon arrival there were no vacant parkings and the staff directed us to a parking lot about a km away, while we were with 2 small children and a lot of baggage. We’ve decided to stop near the main entrance to get our stuff out before moving to a far parking space. Apparently they allow their suppliers to park their vans at the main entrance. No help with luggage from bell boys. At some point the supplier started an argument and was rude and threatening and their security guy did nothing to stop it. The hotel didn’t do much after I’ve later complained. Also, heard some rude comments from staff at the pool. In other cases, staff at the pool argued in front of the guests. The staff didn’t enforce anti smoking rules at the pool area, guests smoked there without restriction (besides signs but apparently the type of guests arriving doesn’t care about that). The suite was good, 2 rooms, 3 balconies, 1 with jacuzzi. Both a shower and a bath, specious. Location of the hotel is great. The lounge for guests with suites allows a good escape from the noise.
Dan Panorama is absolutely the best place to stay for your family vacation! Great service super friendly staff, excellent food and family oriented place. Thank you guys, we enjoyed every moment spended at your place!
Our stay would have been perfect if not for a hotel receptionish named Slava. We requested an early check-in, he said he has to talk to the manager for this and that he will give us a call. He never did. We also asked if we could book a room when we get back after our tour in Petra. This Slava guy again said he has to talk to the manager and would get back to us-he never did! We mentioned to him we are only staying one night as we are going on an early morning tour to Petra for two days. He neglected to inform us that we could request for a boxed breakfast. We only found out when we were checking out to go to our Petra tour, when we saw boxes. it was 10 minutes before 7 am-when the buffet breakfast is about to open. The wonderful woman working at the reception area spoke to the buffet manager to let us in early because of this-thank you very much! We were in a hurry and didn't get your name but we are very thankful for your superb customer service. The night of our stay, we just decided to book on-line because we suspected Slava would not call, and we were right. After our memorable tour of Petra and Wadi Rum, we checked back to Dan Panorama. Slava was there but we didn't go to him, we waited for another front desk receptionist named Daniel. He was very thorough and helpful. He explained everything to us and gave us directions on where things are located. But the best surprise was we were upgraded to a much better room. I am writing this review because our stay at Dan Panorama was a wonderful one, with the exception of a bad experience with Slava. All the other employees were kind and helpful. We will be staying here again when we go back to Eilat. Thank you very much Dan Panorama-Eilat Don and Maricel
the room very comforatable the food is wonderfull the staff is doing every thing for you al the time calling to ask how are you and if you need something.in the dining room you have any kinds off food and also for children
The Dan Panorama is located close to the North Beach, a lot of shopping opportunities and good restaurants. Even the southern beaches are not far if you like to go snorkeling at the reef. Our room was clean, spacey and had a nice view on the marina. Staff was very supportive. The manager connected us with a tour organizer for a day trip to Petra which was really worth it. The breakfast buffet is high quality and offers a big variety of food. Sufficient free parking is available on hotel premisses. We really enjoyed staying at this hotel as did many families with children.
We stayed three nights at the Dan Marina in May. The room was great and we had a super large balcony on the first floor with a marina view. The balconies on the first floor are larger than the higher floors. Other reviewers mentioned the poor WIFI and I had this problem also. Another issue I had was the silly new custom of half doors in the tub. I really splash a lot of water on the floor when I have tubs like this. So after the first day, I received an email asking if we were satisfied with everything. I responded and they send someone to install a shower curtain so eliminate the wet floor. They also sent someone to resolve the WIFI issue. On check-in when they give WIFI instructions it is for the lobby. Each floor has their own WIFI. I was shown the proper login and had no more WIFI issues. The response to the guest was fantastic. The breakfasts had a huge selection and they did bake their own rolls. Many guests have an afternoon flight out and there is a large comfortable area to wait in after check-out. They also provide drinks and snacks for those waiting.
