We had previously stayed in this hotel and had fond memories of our stay. This time we can not say the same. We were greeted by a lovely helpful girl in the lobby who went out of her way to assist us, her name is Alex and she was the bright spot of our stay. Upon receiving our room we were astounded to find that although our room was tidy the floors were sticky and the toilet was unclean!!! The cleaning s.v immediatly rectified this. We were shocked to find that in the bed the bottom undersheet was dirty, we were told it was from an iron burn but it looked like something else.. I won't go in to detail!!! There was a good choice of food in the dining room at both breakfast and dinner and the staff were corteous. It would have been nice if the various foods were marked as to what they were, it was difficult to fathom the cheese for example, it would have been nice to differentiate beteeen cream cheese and soft cheese. The air conditioning in the dining room was either too cold or non-existant. Children were running around and screaming so the atmosphere was not peaceful, the same in the lobby where we couldn't hear ourselves talk, it felt more like a play school. There is extremely loud music around the hotels exterior and swimming pool... so an afternoon siesta was out of the question. Our room was cleaned one morning and we were disgusted to find that our closed over suitcase had been opened and two towels that I had put aside were removed!!!! Upon giving our feedback to the hotel they were apologetic and we were given the option of a late check out and a complementary dinner, this was appreciated but our stay was not relaxing, perhaps for families with small kids this is a good choice of hotel but for us it wasn't. The staircases were dirty all the time and the outside halls were cleaned only the following day after our arrival. The rooms are basic the bed was ok, the couch was sagging... Don't think we will be coming back.

We stayed with friends for two nights. The rooms were clean, nothing fancy, but the price is very affiordable. Enjoyed the buffet and the cappuccinos from the barista. The main complaint is the staff at night are loud and you can hear them pushing carts or something. Maybe it would be better on the second floor. The overall location is great and we walked to restaurants and shops. I would stay here again as it is a value hotel and the property is clean.

I liked that we were upgraded from suite to the royal suite with huge terrace. The stuff are really helpful, may not be better. For a week stay and due to using booking.com we got free diner in hotel restaurant. One day went with family for excursion for the day and got huge lunch boxes. The pool area is nice, but water was too cold to swim in it (end of February). Beach is good with stones and crystal water. Beach 7-8 minutes walk. The price of the stay is a bit high compared to Europe (Spain, Majorca), but overall prices in Israel are quite high, so I may understand that. The hotel is ready for renovation as you may see everywhere some loose ends. We had included breakfast which was quite the same every morning and without meat (bacon, ham) which me personally did not like.

My wife stayed here on our way to tour Petra. Benny and the front desk staff were excellent in their courteous service. Breakfast and dinner buffet provided excellent variety and quality. We had no problems and would stay here again.

Nice hotel near the Ice mall shopping center and easy to reach the boardwalk and beaches.Lots of choices at breakfast, also dinner buffet great choice. Good internet and lots of places to enjoy the weather and sun or to read or to sit near swimming pool.

The best...all the stuff made me feel very comfortable...Dafna at breakfast explained me about the nutritious israel food...all people that work there are with good heart...i hope ill get back to beautiful eilat asap...i cryed when i left.

Stayed 3 nights at the astral Palma Eilat. as part of a group of tourist guiding school we reserved more then ten rooms. The lobby entrance gives a relatively good impression and the staff seemed helpful. Once reaching the corridors you notice the hotel is very old and run down. We received the “upgraded” rooms, so called suite, which is a small bedroom with a worn dusty carpet, there was a dirty sofa in the living room, a small broken table with 2 chairs. The room didn’t seem clean and had a general dusty smell. Some of the rooms had bugs and roaches crawling on the floor. After a sleepless night I asked for a different room which was not better. The breakfast and dinner buffet had a wide selection of food to choose from, however, there was a smell of suage in the dining room. We held a party in the pub of the hotel. The pub had a nice ambience but the smell from toilets was unbearable. To sum it up, I don’t understand how they were graded as a 4 star hotel. I grade them a generous 2 stars. I came back home sick from inhaling all the dust, couldn’t stop sneezing the entire stay. I don’t recommend staying at astral Palma and I surly wont be back.

We were guests at the hotel for 3 nights and we loved every moment. The buffet breakfasts and dinners were fantastic - such variety and so fresh! The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The hotel gave us a public room for our whole group to use for one of the nights. The staff were friendly and helpful and ready to accommodate our needs and requests. We got packed lunches every day - so convenient and more than adequate for our needs. The hotel is close to all the things a tourist needs for sight-seeing. Our whole stay was a pleasure! If only we were able to spend more time in the hotel. We will definitely come back! Suggestion: Maybe the hotel could put signs up reminding guests to not make a noise in the communal areas and passageways - Especially at night.

It is a very nice, very friendly hotel. The dining facilities were excellent. The pool looked amazing, sadly I didn't have a chance to use it. I would go there again. The rooms are suites, divided into a living room and bedroom, with a small kitchenette. The living room area is quite nice. The Bedroom is great for two people but perhaps on the small side. There is also a very narrow balcony, a little too narrow for being practical to sit there. It was probably designed for smokers to stand outside. All in all, I loved the hotel.

My name is Yoav Hano. I recently stayed at the Astral Palma Eilat hotel and my experience was both incredible and unforgettable. From the cuisine, to the rooms to the various hotel facilities everything was simply perfect. I had several special needs in regards to my room and diet that I was concerned about and to my surprise a manager named Benny Zerach accommodated all my requests efficiently, professionally and with a smile. I look forward to staying at Astral Palma in the future.
