Hotel was quiet. Our room was spacious and comfy. The furniture was a little dated and a lightbulb was out in the light near the door. It's a budget hotel, so very basic but clean and good for a night stay over. Only thing I can imagine needing in the room was a kettle to make coffee in the morning. It was kind of weird to check-in at the other hotel but not really a big deal to us.

The check-in desk is NOT at the Bryggen property. Information was posted on the front door about where to go but it was only in Norwegian. Fortunately, another guest translated it for us.

I was actually moved to the Nordfjord Hotell by management. The room was spacious, clean and near the bus stop and things around town. The staff was friendly.
