Oakhill Apartments is a short bus ride from Edinburgh. And a short walk to The Shore where restaurants and cafes are located. On the way to the shore we walked through a really old churchy and graveyard and were invited into the church to see it. Beautiful! There's also a bike/walking path behind the apartments. Just two blocks away a Tesco is open long hours and we stocked up on bread and eggs, cheese and wine. The apartments are wonderfully decorated and comfortable, with comfortable beds and everything needed to make breakfast or a simple meal. Toaster, tea kettle, skillet, spatula, plates, forks, etc. Fridge, stovetop, dishwasher, and washer/dryer combo. The small balcony is perfect for a breath of fresh air. Be mindful that there's a large academy directly behind and quite a lot of activity went on there. The walls are a bit thin so you will hear doors closing and feet walking above you. It did not bother us at all, but we live in a big city condo and are used to the hustle and bustle. We loved this stay and would definitely stay again. It was perfect for us to ride the bus and not worry about parking in Edinburgh. We were able to pack three outfits for Edinburgh and then wash them so we didn't have to pack so heavy for the rest of our week stay in Scotland.

The service from the receptionist at these apartments was outstanding. She was so helpful to us when our flight was cancelled due to snow and allowed us a late check out and even came to check that we were ok! We cannot thank her enough for helping us out in our time of need. The apartments their selves were beautiful, the decor was so modern and the rooms were all so clean with everything we needed in them. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Thank you Oakhill Apartments.

Rented 3 apartments for the weekend. Miscommunication from agoda caused a slight hiccup on check in but the person at reception sorted it on the spot. The apartment has all you need - washer dryer, dishwasher, iron/board plus milk coffee tea and sugar provided to start you off. The two bed apartments have en suite for the double bedroom and a bathroom about 5 steps away from the twin bedroom. The beds are the comfiest I've ever slept in. I totally recommend these apartments and will most certainly use them again. It snowed whole we visited and there was a nasty draught through all the windows. If all I can find to complain about is a draught then I'm happy.

Fantastic apartments like a home from home fully equipped with everything you need we had a night at leith shore while there taxi ride was £5 could’ve easily stayed in and ordered a takeaway apartment lovely and relaxing will definitely visit again

Since I am not a copywriter, nor am I a native English speaker, therefore, I shall summarize my impressions in simple words. Chronologically. First outside impression is of a nice apartment building. Parking is easy, but the vehicle must display a permit which is given by the receptionist. Speaking of which, it is rare to find such an assisting receptionist. Couldn't recall her name. The apartment setup is extraordinary, and everything is useful and comfortable down to the minor accessories. Nice balcony, large TV, sofas, lovely dining table for four, useful kitchenette with all possible accessories, including a washing/drying machine, detergents, etc. The room was broad and very comfortable as well, the mattress was soft and welcoming, and there is much more to say. My advice - go ahead and try it out. One picture worth a thousand words, not to speak of a first-hand experience. However, when you feel it is hard to leave - please do not point a blaming finger towards me. Just stay a bit more. I wish I could have done so.

Would highly recommend this apartment. We were in Edinburgh for the weekend to visit my son who is studying there. We had a 2 bed apartment which was great for us as a family of 4 with 2 older teenage boys. 2 bathrooms meant no queue for shower. Flat was well equipped with washing facilities, cooking facilities etc all excellent. Spotlessly clean. Parking not a problem and we had 2 cars. Very quite at night. Tesco just across the road for supplies. We went to Café Tartine in Leith one night for dinner and took a taxi which cost approx. £5.00. It was worth a visit, lovely French restaurant which was reasonable but you would have to book. We walked into princes Street which I think took maybe 20-30 mins but there is a bus right outside. All in all an great stay and far better value than booking 2 hotel rooms. We will be back!

I stayed here for 2 nights with my family of 4. Apartment is tastefully decorated, spacious for 4 people. 2 bathrooms very useful. Staff was very friendly and helpful. City centre is only 10 minutes drive away. Surrounding area has plenty of restaurants.

Excellent weekend in 0akhill apartments ,Very helpful staff on arrival, All rooms spotlessly clean, Kitchen had everything you needed, Only problem was the fold up bed would not stay up but was able to use matters. Will definitely recommend to our friends

The apartment was outstanding, wanted for nothing, fantastic pub and delicious food at the Perciver. All rooms soundproof, tea coffee sugar and fresh milk provided, even down to laundry tablets, rooms are exactly the same as the photos on their website. Thank you so very much Oakhill Apartment’s for a fantastic birthday weekend for my partner

We stayed in Edinburgh with the three of us, arriving early in the afternoon. The apartment was setup perfectly and was clean/modern and allowed us to hang out in the living room, cook breakfast in the morning and sleep well in the two bedrooms. Wifi was strong and allowed many devices to work properly. Cost effective compared to having to rent multiple hotel rooms. Also, having great restaurants and pubs in walking distance made the location perfect.
