Spectacular Waterfront Cottage: Charming Getaway on The Sheepscot River

The whole cottage is yours. Kick up your feet and enjoy the water view from the living room and bedroom after a day of hiking, kayaking, or shopping in nearby Boothbay Harbor or Wiscasset.

Originally built in the 1920s and well-updated with many modern conveniences.

One private, queen bedroom and bonus sleeping area via pullout sofa bed in the living room. Kitchenette features a full-size fridge, kitchen sink, dual hotplate, toaster oven, coffee maker, blender, and Foreman grill.

Full bath with tub/shower, sink vanity, and commode. Washer and Dryer for guests' convenience.

Self Check In/Out

Access, check-in, and checkout instructions are available in the Vrbo app 3 days before check-in, and all other information is available as soon as they book. VRBO will also email the guide to you 3 days before check in. The cottage was well stocked and spotless and very welcoming. My only suggestion is that I would like the bed linens to be laundered in scent free detergent. I have allergies to many scents and I know that many share my problem. ‘We enjoyed the area and loved the cottage.

We can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay was at this cabin! It was right on the water with a beautiful view. The village is gorgeous, the pier is so fun to walk and be out on the water anytime you want. It was centrally located to everything that we wanted to see and everyone we wanted to visit. We will definitely be returning!

This is a charming and convenient little house in a great location. Wonderful water view, clean and comfortable. Very close to Wiscasset, Boothbay, etc. Good communication with owner and everything nicely arranged. Appreciated dog friendly touches including bowls and bed!

Exceeded ny expectations, very peaceful and beautiful view. Very clean and cozy.

We used this as our base for our 3 day stay of touring the coast. Made a day trip to Arcadia National Park. The fall colors were amazing.

We enjoyed our stay here. The property, location, view were great. The only reason we didn't give it 5 stars is the listing advertised a washer/dryer but when we arrived, the instruction book told us we weren't allowed to use it.

Awesome and relaxing stay!

This cottage right by the water was such a lovely relaxing stay. The house was comfortable, the bathroom was spacious, and the couch was comfortable! It was easy to find the cottage, as it’s in a great location (relative to downtown). My only gripe is that I didn’t stay one day longer! I look forward to returning!
