Located in the Cascade Mountains @ the east entrance to Manning Provincial Park, this all-season getaway is only 2.5 hrs from Vancouver - 1 hr from Hope. The area enjoys dry, warm summers + snowy alpine winters. Manning Park remains the most accessible & diverse outdoor destination in SW British Columbia. The cabin is a short stroll to the Similkameen River and in Pasayten Wilderness Area. Only 20 mins from front door to ski lift where you'll find the best snow quality this close to Vancouver.
We have a Comfy 10 year old rancher style cabin with 3 Bdrms which includes 4 queen sized beds (fishing rm has queen sized bunk beds) 2 full bathrooms, kitchen is outfitted for all your cooking needs and living room boasts 2 large couches and woodstove to cozy up to. We 'Welcome you to our Hideaway'!
We are situated on a 1/2 acre in a Riverside Subdivision at East Gate 10 mins to Manning Park Resort (much closer than Sunshine Valley)

Our Cabin is outfitted with a diverse variety of board games, cards, books and puzzles for use on site.
We love to Unwind + Unplug! There's a TV but no cable, we have loads of DVD's and Music.
Depending on the season we may be have snowshoes and lifejackets available for guest use.
The only gas station in the area is just off the highway, very nearby. If you need to gas up before you leave the hours they are open is 10 to 6 p.m. They also offer some food supplies and have liquor sales.
Guests are able to enjoy a fire in the inside woodstove, wood provided , and an outdoor propane fire table, 1 tank provided, (no outdoor wood fire pit use) , Fire extinguisher and safety kit provided. Please adhere to instructions provided.

You can walk to 3 access points on the Similkameen River from our place or its an 11 minute drive to Manning Park Resort & the Visitor Centre. We suggest a drive up to the Cascade Lookout for Aaamazing Views or hiking and a trip is never complete without a visit to Lightning Lake. The lodge has a restaurant & store with supplies/liquor sales open 7 days a week and The Bear's Den pub with craft beer and tasty menu. (check website for operating times)
