We had a great relaxing stay at the resort. We took our honeymoon here and relaxed a lot at the resort. The service is great here and everyone we spoke to was very kind and attentive. It was nice to have a beach bar restaurant and then a nicer restaurant and grocery across the street.

The front desk was helpful, but their main thing is trying to get you to take a time-share tour. We had a great room on first floor with patio and walk out by the pool. It had two Murphy beds which worked fine. Nice big refrig and enough dishes and glasses. They change towels everyday. Plus: has two activity/tour vendors on site to arrange your trips or rent toys. They had a BBQ or outdoor dinner everyday we were there, Happy hour at the outdoor bar was okay. The restaurant upstairs was excellent. From here you can go to Rum point and starfish point in less than half hour. Negatives: You definitely need a car as this is an hour from Georgetown and all the activity. While they have 3 pools, they are all small. The beach is nice but not for swimming, and snorkeling is not good. WIFI was an issue.

We had and awesome day relaxing. The supermarket nearby is very convenient .The view from our balcony was ideal.Overall the Wyndham is my favorite place to spend some free time. The location is away from the hustle and bustle of 7 mile beach

Very rude and pushy concierge. Insulted wife and I . Tried to lay guilt trip on me about not wanting a time share. I don’t want to hear a bs story about not being able to buy shoes for your kids. Bad form.

Great place!! They said they were at capacity, but hardly anyone around and fairly quiet which was perfect. We wanted a nice quiet get away from our kids and this place nailed it. Stormi was a great concierge and helped us with several different excursions and was on top of it when the Dolphin Discovery messed up our reservation. The only critique would be maintenance in the rooms. Our slider would not properly shut without force which would then not turn on AC. We called about it and no one showed up to assist. Our hair dryer was stuck in on position so needed to be unplugged to turn off. The smoke alarm would go off every time I made toast even though it wasn't burnt. It was just due to the kitchen area being right under smoke detector. But, all in all, the place was great!

Secluded and we had a rental car. So we were able to go to the other side of the island as we needed. The staff was nice but the beach was soooo dirty with seaweed it was brown. The rooms are out dated and don’t do the sales pitch it felt like we were being pressured by sleezy car salesman once we declined the pitch for the time share. But then the lady Cheryl literally told us our marriage won’t make it because we declined to do the time share. But their staff is great over all and they work there o rectify an issue we had with someone accidentally throwing away our food.

We stayed at the resort next to Wyndham and decided to check out their outdoors bar for happy hour. They have a great variety of drinks at 2 for 1, as well as several small plates specially priced. The service was outstanding also. If you are close to the Wyndham at 4 PM, give them a try.

The Reef is a simple resort compared to others, but we loved how quiet it was and how friendly the staff is. It was the perfect getaway for our wedding anniversary. We arrived to 2 bottle of champagne from the hotel for our celebration! Be sure to stop by at the spa and get a massage from Rose...the most relaxing massage ever! We had a few issues with clogged shower drain and curtain failing, outlet issues, but they were promptly resolved. Jasmin and Stormi in concierge are wonderful! Be sure to avoid any transport with Leon-rude and may not even show up to pick you up-but the hotel staff have said they’re trying to find someone new. Hopefully they do before our next trip. We’ll definitely be back to this beautiful paradise!

If you are looking for a huge party scene go somewhere else. This is a 20 year old timeshare building on the quiet end of Grand Cayman (East End). The room was nicely appointed with a good sized kitchen area, dining table to comfortable seat 4-6, living room with 2 pull down murphy beds and a good sized veranda with a gorgeous view of the Caribbean. There was on-site Jet Skiing, snorkeling, and a dive shop (5 star Ocean Frontiers). There's a grocery store within a 5 minute walk to stock up or on good on site restaurant, pool bar, and nightly buffets. Definitely family friendly but they weren't overrun with little kids. Front desk service was excellent. House keeping seemed to cut corners a bit (didn't empty the garbage one day- and forgot to refill the shampoo/soap etc) but the facilities where very clean and well maintained. There is free wifi in the lobby and by the pool. In suite wi-fi is $5 extra per day. Great vacation and Highly recommend if you want peace and quiet.

Barefoot Man plays every Thursday at The Wyndham Reef Resort. Fantastic show!!Great Entertainment. Very versatile! Calipso, Country, Comedy all in one! Chuck of Sea & B fame adds to the fun. Not dirty but suggestive music. Request If You See Kay and then you will understand
