Tulip Inn Eindhoven Airport3.0 out of 5.0

I am a student in the Netherlands and whenever I have to catch my flight to my home country I stay in Tulip Inn. I really like the value person gets for the money - perfect location (you are literally 10 steps away from the airport), sound proof wall, so the passing planes cannot be heard and a person can have peaceful night and time. There is one slight problem - it is possible to put the temperature high in the room, but only by 3 degrees than the normal human temperature and as a person who dislikes being opposed to cold that is an issue. Regardless that, everything else is amazing :)
Our daughter and her friend, both teenage girls, booked a room for one night bevause they had an early flight. Flight was cancelled and they had to fly out of Cologne instead, so it was not possible to stay in this hotel. The room could not be cancelled, but because it is a huge amount for two schoolgoing girls we cancelled the room and asked for a refund. The answer was no, which is correct according to the rules. But we had expected a little bit more compassion and a better reason: the director of the hotel claimed that 90% of the roomrate (€89) would consist of administration cost. So she could only think of reimbursing 10%. After her email we didn't hear from her again. She could have made them customers for life, now they (and we) won't stay in Tulip hotels anymore.
An unexpected overnight stop courtesy of Ryanair and them cancelling our flight from Ein to STN. Rooms were modern with wet room shower/EC. All very clean and tidy. There was a kettle in the room. Continental breakfast was as you'd expect. Free wifi All in all no concerns
This place is terrible! No air circulation in the room. They claim there is no air- conditioning and rooms are climate controlled. I couldn't sleep at night. The receptionist didn't seem to care when informed. Dirty bedsheets( see photographs), dirty sofa, poor sound proofing.Swanky looking b hotel rooms though.Found the dirt on lifting blanket from the well-made bed. Horrible is the only word which describes thie stay. Even if you get to stay there for free don't stay here....unless you can survive without oxygen.
My rating factors in the price we paid, under $80 including taxes. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. We did not expect luxury accommodations at this price but felt it was a great value given the location. Our flight arrived at nearly midnight and it was so convenient to literally walk steps from the luggage carousel exit to the hotel's elevator situated on the mezzanine level. You never even have to step foot outside the building. Having pre-paid for our stay, we presented our passports, checked in, paid our tourist tax, got our key cards and were in our rooms within 10 minutes. The sink was outside of the bathroom in the bed area. There are pros and cons to that kind of setup. Most people do not have extended stays at budget airport hotels so the room did not have much storage space. On the plus side, the room was clean and the location convenient for buses to the train station.
clean, comfortable bed, spacious room, clean bathroom, some amenities for a quick tea or coffee, basically all you need if you are a traveler with a very early flight. No storage room for lugage due to different regulation in the airport.
Arrived 12.00 to reception, our rooms were not ready, there is no luggage room to keep you things until the room is available for security reasons, unless you pay 17.50 eur then you room is ready. Seems that money is first for this hotel, no client service. Not recomended.
I think this is a good hotel for a night or two; it's perfect for a layover! With a hotel built into the airport, you can't get much more convenient than that, especially if you're travel-weary. I liked the overall modern and crisp decor, concise layout, and cleanliness of this hotel. The receptionists were very friendly, check in and check out were a breeze, and I for one slept soundly on the comfortably firm mattress (my husband, however, did not). If you're worried about airplane noise, no need to be. The airport is closed at night, and we weren't woken up by takeoffs in the morning. If you haven't packed shampoo and conditioner, then be aware that there's only body/hair gel dispensers in the shower and above the tub, and they'll make your hair as dry as straw. Due to the bathroom door being frosted glass, with gaps at top and bottom and not at all soundproof, it's best to either be SUPER comfortable with the person you're staying with, or just turn on the TV to drown out any questionable noises! Something I found rather odd was a light just inside the door. It seems to be motion-sensored, but would turn on and off every few seconds no matter if you stood still or not. It made it difficult to get ready the next morning, but not impossible.
Spent one night there in order to catch an early flight. Quiet room, interesting "layout", very nice view of the tarmac. Very unfriendly, uninterested bartender. All in all, good for layovers, not for extended stay.
This is a very neat and modern hotel right at the airport. Rooms are very modern and minimalistic - right place to stay overnight and get the early morning plane as it is directly connected to the terminal.
