I stay here often for work and like the location. Rooms in the main hotel are nice with huge Jacuzzi tubs. Rooms in the adjacent old Philips building are a pain to get to (two elevators and a maze of hallways). Breakfast, if included with your booking, is good. Parking below hotel is limited and fills up if getting back late from the office (or day out) and you must park across the street. Desk in room is tiny and there are no outlets, I always have to request an extension cord with multiple outlets to work but if you’re there for vacation who cares.
This place was great for the 5 weeks I was there. I enjoyed the hot tub in the first room I had even though be aware there is a drying sequence that pops on several minutes after youre done. I also enjoyed the extended stay rooms which were nice to stay in because they were seperate from the rest of the hotel and had its own private entrance. I would recommend staying at this hotel.
Very pleasant stay in this trendy hotel with noble kitsch decoration. And what a great pleasure to have a warm sauna in its beautiful spa, while a cold wind was blowing over Eindhoven. Friendly and efficient staff. Highly recommended.
Very good hotel, spacious rooms (with a bit of a strange decoration and too low lighting). Excellent breakfast and very convenient location. Breakfast is awesome, the orange juice is real one, instead of the condensed one. EMTE supermarket is nearby, and 3 mins walk to railway station. The bus stop to the airport is just across the street. The.room is very clean, too
Loved this hotel. Really friendly helpful welcome. Free welcome cocktail. Spacious clean, quiet, modern room. Walkable to the centre and very comfortable convenient for train and the busses to the airport Nice breakfast selection.
Beautiful hotel located in the center of Eindhoven, partly situated in the historic Philips 'Ligh-tower'. The rooms are very spacious and equipped with all you need. Breakfast is ok. Service level is absolutely excellent. Recommandable!
The hotel is well located in the centre of Eindhoven. The staff is very friendly. However, the rooms are very dark and the light is not appropriate. I stayed twice in this hotel so far. The first time, I got a big room. This time, I had a tiny room with a tiny bed, which was not acceptable for that price. Moreover, the cleaning of the room was not satisfying. Small dirt from the previous day was not cleaned. Just the bed was made and towels changed. The breakfast was ok but too expensive for what it was. The parking of the hotel is quite small and most of time fully occupied. Furthermore, the parking spaces are tiny and it can be quite hard to fit in. If you do not get a parking lot in the hotel, you need to park in the parking house on the opposite side. Additonally, the parking was very expensive. Overall, the hotel is really overprized for what they offer. I would not stay there again if the office wouldn't be so close.
One for well heeled hipsters particularly. The staff were excellent! Polite, super friendly and with outstanding English even by the high standard set by the Netherlands. The room was spacious and modern. The bed was a supremely comfortable, memory foam I believe. There was a spa bath in the room and whilst I didn't try it I imagine it would be most welcome after a hard day if one had the time to fill it and use it. Three tiny caveats, but really tiny and in no way insurmountable: 1) The room had a bulb out (or i never located the correct light switch) and so the room was rather gloomy in the evening. I needed to call reception to help locate the hairdryer which was in a black cloth bag in the wardrobe, totally invisible! 2)The shower door didn't form a seal with the shower floor so water poured into the bathroom and I needed to mop it up. 3) The writing desk or table is rather shallow and doesn't have any spare power sockets nearby. I would have preferred a slightly deeper one from which to do some work in preparation for my meeting. I've been considering bringing an external keyboard and mouse on future trips but had I tried it here I would have found it impossible to put my laptop and the keyboard in front of me. 4) The lack of any carpeting at all feels odd to me in a bedroom. Again, small issues, some due to taste and preference. No disappointment felt though and I would readily book again and recommend to anyone.
We only stayed for 1 night but was very impressed with this hotel. Only a short walk from the train station and also not far from PSV Eindhoven's ground which is well worth a visit. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms are gigantic. Everything has a very minimalist feel to it and the old Philips lightbulb factory has really been brought back to life by the hotel. Drinks in the bar were reasonable but we had dinner elsewhere so can't comment on the food. My only slight gripe was the time taken to check in. Another thing to note is that some of the rooms are a long way from the new hotel building. We even had to take two separate elevators. Overall you won't find a better hotel for 95 Euros a night. Can't believe I paid nearly £200 for a Holiday Inn in Camden last month. Not even in the same league!
We stayed here for a weekend break recently. The hotel is very well maintained with spotlessly clean facilities and the staff are really helpful and friendly. Rooms are very large with excellent facilities. Highly recommended
