Great location, close to World's End and Rickett's Glenn state parks and Loyal Sock state forest. Dutchman Falls is 5mins away. The hosts communicated well and provided a guidebook (was also printed off in a binder). Good wifi. Thank you for allowing dogs. I was comfortable leaving mine off-leash to use the bathroom outside. Quiet roads. There was an inflatable hot tub, but we did not end up using it. Cookware could use a replacement. The mattress was a little uncomfortable.

Very nice property near World's End state park. Yard was really cozy. Indoor stairs could be a little slippery - hardwood without stair runners. Overall a great cabin getaway

This place was perfect. It felt like home. Rachel is very prompt with answering questions. It quiet and relaxing. Our little Dexter seemed very comfortable too. Would definitely recommend this home.

clean comfortable. All other vrbo properties we have rented had house rules and info regarding heat/air conditioning, garbage, etc. available at the property. This would have been very helpful rather than having to communicate directly with the host. No laundry facilities and not enough wash cloths and towels for all guests for the entire stay. Overall it was a good stay and when contacting the host, he was very helpful and courteous.

Very well maintained property, quiet and secluded area, and very clean and the host was very responsive and wanted to help and make sure our stay was comfortableThe cabin uses well water and budgeting of water usage is needed. The transfer station for trash disposal is conveniently located within a couple of miles

Perfect weekend

Everything was perfect! Very helpful and great recommendations about the area. We drove 7 hours for this trip and the hot tub was so wonderful. Kitchen and bathrooms very clean and bed was so comfortable. Thank you for hosting us. We appreciate you!

Perfect Retreat

Our stay at Beechwood was a great location for our long weekend. The cabin was the perfect retreat after a day of hiking and exploring a few of the numerous trails, waterfalls and vistas close by. The cabin is clean, comfortable and nestled amongst beautiful hemlock trees. The icing on the cake are the lovely and accomidating owners. We highly recommend Beechwood.

Weekend Away

It was a comfy and cozy cabin in the woods. Kitchen was well supplied and all linens and towels were provided which was amazing. They had a hot tub which was nice. We did have a small hiccup with the water pressure, but the hosts were on it and had someone out the next morning to fix the issue. The cabin was clean. We will definitely consider this cabin for another stay.

Very peaceful location!

The house was in a great location and we really enjoyed nights by the fire and the party lights in the backyard. We had 6 adults and 2 kids and never felt cramped for space. We had a great time in Loyalsock creek where the kids could use their tubes and loved exploring the waterfalls!

central location for adventure

Our stay was fun, relaxing and full of adventure. The hosts were awesome and amazingly helpful. They truly thought of EVERYTHING! The house was close to beautiful trails and waterfalls. In the evenings my family enjoyed relaxing by the campfire in this pleasant and peaceful area. Absolutely wonderful stay here and would definitely stay here again!

Getaway w/ our dogs

Many places say "dog friendly" until you read the fine print and it will be something like only 1 dog under 39.67 lbs. that lives mainly in a dog stroller and only barks in French on Tuesdays. Beechwood is NOT that place! We are big dog people, we are a 4 large to extra large dog family that love the outdoors. So when we found a place that we could take our dogs with us we were through the roof! The owners of Beechwood understand how important it is to be able to take a vacation with your dogs. If you love the outdoors, hiking, and seeing an amazing number of waterfalls; Beechwood in Dushore, is the place for you. You can easily get to Ricketts Glenn, Worlds End, and miles and miles of hiking trails in between! Beechwood is really clean and has all the comforts of home plus an outside firepit area. Communication was so great with Beechwood's owners. They gave us so much information of places to go see that we'll need to go back and we look forward to our next trip! We would highly recommend this cabin to everyone.

Great winter getaway!

We had travel plans that we weren’t able to make and booked this lovely place last minute. It was perfect, quiet and comfortable. We were able to bring our two dogs- which was one of our reasons for choosing this listing. Close to a lot of great hiking and beautiful forests. Nice fire pit and the hot tub was a welcome addition! Other houses were a bit closer than expected but the whole neighborhood was quiet and so it wasn’t an issue at all, the trees around the house make it feel secluded. Kitchen was stocked with all we needed to make our own meals and we were able to relax and enjoy in this cozy cabin 🏡

Beautiful cabin in the woods

What a beautiful cabin to stay in. We had a family of 4 stay comfortably and enjoyed our stay. Close to many trails for hiking and tons of recommendations and pictures of trails by the owners to give you the best experience. House is stocked with everything you need for cooking your own meals and more. Hot tub was a wonderful bonus. Campfire area is available to use as well.

BEECHWOOD

Amazing place to stay. Lots of room. Beautiful country, lots of waterfalls and other things to do. Would love to stay again at a later time. LOVED THE PROPERTY WE STAYED AT, GREAT COMMUNICATIONS WITH THE PROPERTY MANAGER. I wish they had a dumpster on the property somewhere for trash, but there is a recycling center down the road where we paid $5 to get rid of 2 bags of trash. VERY HAPPY OVERALL WITH EVERYTHING !!!
