Accommodation was right by the beach. There was a lot of great food options and grocery stores nearby. The listing stated that there was on site parking which means parking included. This was not accurate. The host meant parking is available in the area and street parking is free. Good luck finding a decent spot in Albania though especially right by the beach. Best to find pay parking like we did. At check in the host told us where to park and that if we can find a better spot we should. What she failed to tell us is that she had led us to park in a bus zone and that we would get a ticket if we left the car there overnight. We ended up getting a ticket which the host did not reimburse. If she had simply said to move as we were parked illegally while we unloaded our belongings we wouldve been better off. The balcony was sketchy as well. The heat pump for the air conditioner has the drain hose discharging directly onto the balcony tile floor. Tile is extremely slippery when wet. Not knowing this at check in, my daughter slipped and hit her head on the tile floor. There is also no drain on the balcony so the water just sites there pooling. Host was dismissive and we were unimpressed. If youre looking for a place close to the beach with a view, not driving, and willing to overlook some communication blunders this is the place for you.
