Basic room, not an apartment. Far from centre

The staff were lovely here and accommodated the issues I had whilst staying 1 night. I emailed in advance saying I wanted to check in early and my room was made priority to clean first so this could happen. However I left 2 nights early after a large cockroach in the room. The beds were comfortable. The apartment was very basic. Fridge/microwave/kettle but no cutlery or crockery to use. There was clearly a leak at the kitchen sink and foul smell after opening this empty cupboard. The bathroom let the room down further. Although clean, I didn’t want to use the shower funks after looking at the floor. The staff here could work in 5 star hotels, but don’t be fooled by any mention of ‘luxury deal’: I didn’t see any rooms/decor or hint of this place offering anything upmarket. It’s a budget lodge in the hills with no frills.

Pretrige uitvalsbasis voor Durban

Bij aankomst kregen wij de honeymoon suite toegewezen. Super! De kamer is erg groot met in de slaapkamer zowel ventilator als airco. Tussenruimte met koelkast en een grote badkamer met een jacuzzi, twee wastafels en een ruime douche. Je loopt de kamer uit en neemt zo een duik in het zwembad. Het ontbijt was ene dag vers, de andere dag wat minder. De eigenaren zijn super aardig!
