A nice place, clean, and friendly staff. It’s not as glamorous as some of the other hotels, but it was an affordable and pleasant way to get to experience Harbor Island. No complaints and would stay again.
This was my first trip to The Bahamas and to this island and hotel. The hotel staff is very nice, and they refunded my money for part of my trip when I needed to go back to Nassau. Walking around the island, it appears this is one of the nicer hotels -- the other lodging options looked pretty awful. I'm not sure what the island normally looks like, i.e. was this area damaged by 2017 hurricanes? It is a bit rough looking though seemed safe enough. There are many rundown buildings near the hotel. I feel bad for the residents (who are extremely nice and friendly) but it not an appealing vacation spot. It was way too windy and cold to enjoy the beautiful pink sand beach or the ocean or the seaport area. There are very good food stands with fresh seafood nearby. If you are wealthy and part of the yacht crowd, there are some upscale restaurants which I didn't visit. These are the nicest people I've met in my trips in and around the Caribbean.
