Perfect central hub

A few days in wine country for a good friend and I - we had the perfect home base at Steve and Sue’s place! Their home is well stocked, exceptionally clean, they give lots of recommendations, and it’s central to so many great restaurants and wineries. It’s an easy drive to the coast or to Silver Falls if you want a day trip to temper out the wine tastings! I would definitely recommend and go again.

Fantastic place in a perfect location!

One of the best vacation homes we have stayed at. Really thoughtful details throughout. Loved the outdoor shower, themed robes for each room and heated bathroom floors! Would love to stay there again!!

Great wine country trip

Great home in the heart of Dundee Hills wine country. Very convenient. Updated and clean, with everything you could want or need. Very responsive host - easy to work with and provided a ton of information about the area, events, restaurants, etc. Great stay!

Great location & ideal VRBO

When you imagine a VRBO rental, it's this. Clean, easy check-in process, so many thoughtful amenities (heated bathroom floors and silk pillow cases just to name a few) and ideal, quiet location. We appreciated the host's quick responses. Thank you for a great stay!

Loved! Loved! Loved!

Sue's place was a great place to stay and we would definitely come back. The house is adorable and comfortable. Back yard is very nice. Walking distance to lots of tasting rooms and places to eat and amazing Red Hills Market. And where we couldn't walk, everything is a close drive. Sue was great with recommendations on places to eat and wine taste. Highly recommend if you are looking for a nice place to stay in the Willamette Valley!

Wine-ding road escape

Following many hours exploring the coast and wine country…home at last! Although some messy roadwork, entering this home was tranquil and inviting. A beautiful home with all the modern amenities and comforts making it a perfect home to unwind. The exterior living area was the perfect relaxation venue in perfect weather (mild smoke though from distant fires). The new outdoor shower was a nice addition to the single bathroom with four people. Location was perfect as well and close to great wineries and food! Our entire purpose. A great home and comfortable for our escape! Thank you Sue for sharing your home with us!

Perfect location

Nice little house in a perfect location. Nothing the property owner could do but there was heavy construction going on outside the home that will continue for the next several months. House was shaking and vibrating from the heavy equipment 40 feet from the front door. We visited end of July 2023. Would visit again if no construction.

Wonderful Location!

This was a perfect place to stay in Dundee. We were walking distance to the Main Street restaurants and shops. The house was exactly how it was described in the listing and exceeded expectations on comfort and cleanliness. I am recommending to friends and family!

Girl’s Weekend in Wine Country

We had a wonderful stay here - so clean and a perfect location! The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, the mattresses were super comfortable, and the backyard was a great spot to relax! We were able to walk easily anywhere in Dundee, including several trips to Red Hills Market. The owner was incredibly responsive answering all my questions in advance and provided suggestions for the area. Would absolutely stay here again and cannot recommend enough to others!

Perfect wine country getaway!

Perfect location for a group of friends enjoying wine country. Easy to drive to nearby wineries and even walk to restaurants or tasting rooms. The house was completely adorable - very well done. Impeccably clean and we loved the backyard fire pit. Will definitely come again!

Wonderful stay in wine country

We loved staying at this property! The home was extremely clean and organized. The home had everything we needed (kitchen spices, cookware, bath towels, blankets, etc). We really enjoyed the outside space and sat by the propane firepit on two nights. The home is within walking distance to restaurants and some tasting rooms. This was great! The property is also centrally located for visiting vineyards and seeing the area. We also drove to the coast one day. Sue was very responsive and answered any questions or concerns we had right away. I would definitely recommend this home!

Everything was great. Great house that everything we could need. Property owners seem to have thought of everything. Walking distance to bar, restaurants and tasting rooms. 5 minute or less drive to multiple wineries.

Great house for wine country weekend

We had a great girls weekend at this wine country property. Very clean, cute decor and the A/C kept us cool as temperatures hit 95+! We loved the proximity to restaurants that we could walk to!

Excellent location

The house is in a great location! We had a little confusion with the check in lock box with the instructions indicating a clockwise turn versus a counter clockwise turn but we eventually got in and the house was exactly as advertised. Very clean and we only had a minor problem with a smell in the kitchen that turned out to be a malfunctioning garbarator. We let the owners know and we tried everything to fix it but in the end we had to leave it for after we left. I would definitely recommend the rental!

Perfect location with everything you need!

Sue and Steve's place in Dundee was perfect in so many ways! Leading up to our stay, communication with Sue was very easy and she gave so many wonderful recommendations for things to do during our stay. Check in was seamless and the house was just as shown in the photos, cozier even!!! Loved the fire place so much that I'm now looking for one for my own home!! The bedrooms are adorable and there is no shortage of pillows or closet space! The beds are all very comfortable with luxury bedding and lend a restful night sleep for the most part. We had a chirping feathered friend outside the front bedroom windows that was an early riser! I was prepared with ear plugs but my friend was not so lucky! The house is truly in the best location for walking to all the tasting rooms, restaurants, general store, and local dive bar! If you're lucky enough to catch Sal and the Salamanders LIVE at Lumpy's...DO IT!! At night we had the perfect wind down spot in our own backyard with a propane fire pit with comfy chairs and outdoor blankets. Our ONE wish list item for the house would be a hot tub but don't let that hold you back from booking this fabulous house RIGHT NOW! The house is so well organized and everything was labeled to perfection! When we left the house at the end of our stay we agreed there was only one thing that needed to be improved....the hair dryer!!!! So if you are a thick haired person be warned or BYOBD (Bring Your Own Blow Dryer!) Thank you Sue and Steve for providing the best place for a much needed getaway! We can't wait to visit again!
