Nestled in the rolling hills of Dundee, this charming and cozy three-bedroom home blends comfort, style, and convenience, ideal for families or couples seeking a memorable wine country retreat.

Set on a single main level, Alder House features bright, welcoming spaces throughout. The spacious living room invites you to relax with a good book or gather around the SmartTV for a cozy movie night. A gas fireplace in both the living area and lounge off the kitchen ensures warmth and comfort on cool evenings.

The fully equipped kitchen is designed for both casual and inspired cooking, with updated appliances, quartz countertops, and unique counter height windows overlooking the deck and backyard, which feature more than 500 tea plants that were planted in spring 2023. Brew a fresh cup of locally roasted Caravan Coffee each morning, or pair a glass of wine with an appetizer plate as you unwind after a day of exploring. The dining area seats up to six guests, perfect for shared meals and conversation.

Step outside to the spacious deck and enjoy wonderful valley views. With outdoor dining for six and a new BBQ grill, this is the perfect spot for alfresco dinners and sunsets over the vineyards.

When it is time to rest, the home's three bedrooms promise peaceful sleep for up to six guests. The primary suite features a king-size bed and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Two additional bedrooms each offer plush queen beds and share a full bathroom with a shower-tub combo. Luxurious amenities and fluffy towels complete the experience.

Great place to head out for wineries. Walked to dinner places which was fun. Some little things need updated. Definitely missed not having a washer and dryer. Appreciate the bushes to separate from the neighbors. Would stay again!

The house is beautiful, spacious and was in a convenient location. Alder House is very clean and comfortable and the snacks, coffee, and wine were a nice complimentary welcoming gift. The deck is great. I suggest adding seat pads for the outdoor furniture. The only issue I had was that the pillows were a bit uncomfortable.

The property was very welcoming, spacious, well appointed, very clean and ideal proximity to wineries and restaurant's. The property owner grows tea in the back and it was very interesting to learn about that crop. He is very knowledgeable about the area and offered numerous suggestions. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to cook in. The living room lacked enough comfortable seating. We were disappointed that there was not access to laundry -very unusual to not have when renting a home of this size/price point. The complimentary bottle of wine tasted like vinegar. The wifi in the bedrooms was unusable for streaming and the wifi slowed to a dial up frustrating speed if more than one person tried to use it. The neighborhood was nice to get out and walk in. The views from the property were nice. It would've been nice if there was more information about the tea garden business in the backyard on the booking page. Guests only have use of a deck space but not a back lawn.

Fantastic!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Alder house. The house was absolutely spotlessly clean, well furnished, well stocked (kitchen and bathrooms) and a wonderful place to stay while exploring the area. We were within easy walking distance of some great restaurants and a short drive to many wineries. We would happily rent this house again if we are ever visiting this area in the future.

Well appointed house in wine country

The Alder House was great. We will be back when we visit the area again. Lovely view from the patio! Very clean! Amazing location! Well appointed with nice furnishings and everything that you need for your stay including coffee, tea and even a bottle of wine.
