This place is a nice hotel, we had room 108 and it was a massive room. Clean and friendly. The bar that is connected to the hotel is a great place to have some beers and shoot some pool. Foods good but the beer prices are bit expensive. Overall I will be coming back to this place the next time i come through Duncan.
If you’re interested in good food and some great atmosphere, look for Dara at The Old Fork. You’ll enjoy the friendly staff and great banter. I have enjoyed many meals here and have never been disappointed.
This is a basic hotel with OK rooms that are nothing special. It was clean and the staff at the front desk were friendly and very good. There is no elevator and our room was on the second floor. The breakfast was not very good so we went to the attached Smitty's restaurant and had a great breakfast at a low cost. The wifi was free and worked fine. An OK hotel for a one night stopover that is we'll located for Duncan and area.
Stayed a night at the hotel and went for breakfast at"The Old Fork" restaurant. The food was great and our waitress Dara was hands down the best waitress we've ever had! She was amazing and when my wife asked for whipped cream for her pancakes she was sorry to say they didn't have any. We were ok with that but Dara wasn't, so she went back and hand made some herself!! Totally made our day! Talk about above and beyond!! So if you're ever at the Ramada in Duncan go to The Old Fork and if you're lucky enough you might be served by Dara. Thanks Dara you rock!!!
Shout out the the amazing waitress Dara at The Old Fork Restaurant ! She was on it very efficient, went above and beyond to make us happy ! I would say one of the best waitresses I have ever had ! I asked for whipped cream for my pancakes and she said they didn't have any, so she went back and hand made some herself!! Totally made my day thank you so much Dara for being awesome
Rooms were fairly standard, nothing too fancy, but clean and comfortable. The pillows were amazing and I slept like a rock. The TV wasn't working but the wifi was excellent so that didn't cause an issue. Area is a bit rougher and there was an unfortunate case of someone getting arrested while I was there but even then, as a solo female traveller, once I got in my rooms I had a lovely time. And words cannot express how absolutely amazing the front staff was; I arrived far too early for check in but had a meeting before the official check in. The woman at the front desk was friendly and took my number to call me as soon as the rooms had been turned. I left to wait and she ended up running after me to let me know that mine had just come up. Ended up checking in early with enough time for a quick nap even! Can't thank her enough!!!!
It was a nice room with two queens; fridge and microwave. A problem with the microwave was quickly taken care of; and there is a great restaurant downstairs. Downtown Duncan with art galleries, an old train station, a funky old garage that is now a bookstore and cafe are all nearby (four or five blocks). Lots of parking in the area.
Not a bad hotel but it is really a motel with a fancy front added to it so it is a little misleading. Rooms are around the back and you must climb the stairs if you are on the second floor. All rooms open to the outside so there is no interior hallway to protect you from the elements. The only problem we had was a power failure in the morning so we had to shower in the dark and there was no food service as a result.
Comfortable stay at a side-of-the-road motel. Staff were very friendly and room was comfortable and well layed out.
When wipeing bathroom floor from water with a towel towel was black with dirt. White dog hair on chair and bottom bed scarf when I first arrived. Coffee maker dirty. Not advised of boil water advisory.
