We got a luxury room for the same price as a standard after I bought it last minute. We were only stopping one night there on the way to the Highlands, and one night on the way back home. The staff were friendly and were nice enough to collect a forgotten phone charger for us, which they kept safe behind the desk until we checked in to go home. The downside was that the jacuzzi in our luxury was broken. Loved it for a stop though as the room had everything we needed.

The bathroom has been significantly upgraded with the installation of a walk-in shower and the removal of the bath, which is so much bettter. Apart from the extractor fan not working, the bathroom was great. The room itself was clean and tidy as expected. The receptionist was very welcoming. Free wi-fi worked well and was much appreciated.

My wife Jacky and myself stayed at this hotel and it gives you all that you want the staff are happy and go the extra mile for you the rooms are comfortable with tv coffee and tea making facilities comfy beds and a smart room my only fault is the shower could be more adjustable but we can all duck a bit

Stayed there overnight clean rooms free Wi-Fi walked around the property nice and green. It is on the motorway between England and Scotland. It is near an outlet and shopping mall. It has a Starbucks, kfc, and burger king in it.

For just over £40 you don’t expect much for a nights stay in a room a stones throw from the main motorway linking England to Scotland. Checking in was quick, breakfast options are either continental delivered to your room or a cooked breakfast at the service area a short walk away. I booked a dog friendly room which is £5 extra, room was clean, warm & reasonably well equipped. You will get tea/coffee, biscuits, TV, soap, towels & pen & notepad. It was quiet despite being close to a busy motorway. The beds are fairly comfortable & there is ample storage space. My main gripes, the one & only chair is ready to collapse at any time & despite offering free WiFi it wouldn’t connect up using pre registered settings & instead BT will happily take your money before you can connect up. I asked reception staff for help but they couldn’t. Cheap but cheerful but don’t rely on the WiFi.

Very basic and shower in old bath poor quality, would not easily go off and dripped all night. Poor and I had to sop due to tiredness, the shower bath needs an update badly not too clean either. Who checks the rooms?

Stayed 2 nights, very clean, wonderful, friendly staff. On check-in we were offered a voucher for breakfast at the nearby Harry Ramsdens on the service station. Not worth the £7.94. For an extra 4p at the till, a full english could be ordered. I wouldn't bother though, the food was lukewarm & dried up, the attitude of the lady who served our order was atrocious.

I stayed here en route to the Highlands. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I had my dog with me and he was also made welcome. The room was spotless and welcoming. I was particularly pleased with the shower which was the best I have experienced in a hotel for a long time. Usually there is little room but this one had the great combination of power and room! The towels were also of excellent quality.

This was my first ever stop over at a motorway hotel and I was pleasantly surprised! Staff were welcoming and informative, room extremely clean with everything you need and it was surprisingly quiet to say it was by the motorway. Would definitely stop again.

First time to stay at a Days Inn and first time to choose to stay at any hotel in a motorway service station. My eyes had become tired driving in the rain on a journey south from Scotland so I pulled in at the services for a rest. I noticed the hotel and booked a room on my phone in the car park for a very reasonable price. The building was a little tired but the room was warm and the bed was comfortable (I slept like a log!). I didn’t notice any traffic noise. Modern bathroom with a super shower and massive towels. AND biscuits on the tea tray! Would definitely consider staying again.
