The set up was nice that everyone was able to have their own bed. Consider replacing the frame or getting a larger bed for the master bedroom. The lookout to Lake Superior was great!

Overall we had a great stay here. We did run into a couple issues with the heating units not turning on. The management company was quick to send out a maintenance person who was able to get them working and was very friendly and professional. The thermostat in the kitchen is only for the kitchen baseboard, all the other rooms have their own baseboard heating that need to get turned on individually. We stayed at change of season from warm to cooler weather at night so the heat was needed at night. Everything was very clean when we arrived. One thing we noted to the management was that the listing is for a king and a queen bed, however the beds are actually a queen and a double. We also noticed the outside light is a motion sensor but the switch inside has to be flipped on for that to work. It’s a historic building and it’s close to everything so location was good.

Things looked really clean when we checked in. However, we found mouse droppings on the counter on our first morning. We had left a bowl on the counter with a few crumbs of popcorn, and there were droppings in the bottom of the bowl. There were some around the salt and pepper too. We did enjoy the sunrises on the lake, and the full moon that were both visible from our living room window. One more thing, it was really hard to get the key out of the lockbox. It took us about a half hour and a phone call to the office. Maybe that should be remedied
