Holiday Inn Düsseldorf - Neuss

Room was large and clean. Hotel was not in the city center but was an easy walk/quick cab ride. Breakfast was very over priced. Staff was great and very helpful. Easy if you have a car. It is great for a first night stay if you arrive in Düsseldorf.

I had a very enjoyable one night stay at the hotel. The standard of service was second to none, clean and convenient, with very helpful staff in the breakfast restaurant as well as at the front desk. I have searched some of the comments beforehand, but there is no close access to anything else as my company office building. Being slightly away from the city allows some peace and quiet away from the city.

Bed: 8 out of 10 We staid at the Holiday inn Dusseldorf-Neuss during the last ProWine fair. The Hotel is a bit getting to a renovation, but it has been maintained very well and looks nice in-spite of age. The rooms and facilities were very clean and nice. The service in the reception, bar and restaurant were first class. On our day of arrival we arrived in the restaurant 15 minutes after they had closed for lunch, but they bid us welcome and served us a fist class lunch with a smile. For that matter, we had two breakfast, one lunch and two dinners in the restaurant, where each meal for really top class and the service was always good and friendly. They offer shuttle service to the fair grounds and a taxi costs between 50€ and 60€ to the fair grounds or the center of Dusseldorf. The only fault we could find, was that there was nothing within a walking distance. Never the less we will definitely use this hotel again

This Holiday Inn is located in a green area of Dusseldorf. It is half an hours from downtown by a tram 709. This is classical and comfortable hotel, with good service and medium prices. Breakfast good but room is too small, very little fresh fruits. Staff is very friendly. Wifi could be faster as well.

A standard holiday inn experience, breakfast was good (but busy) and the bar/reception/restaurant are all pleasant places to be with good if somewhat eccentric service all round. The room I had was quite dated but clean and tidy. The shower was fantastic but the temperature did fluctuate a little which made for some quick exists before being steamed. The only downside was that the rooms are all very hot inside, I stayed with colleagues and we all agreed that this was a common problem. Yes the rooms have ac but who wants to leave it on all night. Overall pretty good but the room temperature was hard to get past.

is just excellent. great onion soup, great salmon steak. very very surprising. A great choice specially on Sunday when everything is close. Very good service too. Got here by accident and fully recommended

Location: In the middle of an office area a good 20 min march from the center of Neuss. Staff: The one thing that safed the second point otherwise it would have been one. Friendly and open and efficient. Room. A big room, but outdated in the decor, with a fan in the bath that went on pretty long after switching the light off, lights that gave up noise and were not really able to light the room, coat hangers that tell you they see you as a thief and a small bottle of water for 4 €. At least it was clean. But the walls are thin so if your neighbour wants to wake up before you... bad luck. Food: As this is the only Restaurant in the vicinity, the think they can charge accordingly and they do so, 16 € for a burger.... Asking for other restaurants I got a list and the one that I picked did not exist anymore. At least I got a nice walk through Neuss this way. So bring your own food and drinks if you do not want to get ripped off.

The rooms & bathrooms have a good size and are very clean and well equipped. The restaurant has very nice food. The breakfast has many options. Unfortunately the hotel does not have a gym... Since the weather was very cold I was not possible to run outdoors while I was staying at the hotel. That was a little disappointing. The heating in the rooms was also difficult to control so I had to sleep with my window open all 4 nights. Many people that were staying at the hotel faced the same issue.

It's a strange place. It's seen better days and is shabby enough to feel like a step back to the 1970s. The service at the front desk is terse at best - and utterly dismal later in the evening. The place acts as if guests are a mild inconvenience. The hotel shuts up early at night like an old biddy's boarding house, whether you're a resident or not. The room service is ok, to be fair. But it's in the back of beyond. Overall - my recommendation would be to try and find somewhere else.
