Magnificent Normandy residence from the 19th century, this family house located in the very pretty village of Ducey-Les Chéris is an old mansion, made of local stone, welcomes you with its cottage, completely renovated since 2020 and able to accommodate 4 people.

Immersing yourself in the world of La Rose de Ducey also means strolling through the garden to discover the delicate scent of the 8 different roses that adorn the garden, the explosion of colors of the camellias, rhododendrons, fuchsias... which mix together. If the weather permits, you can have breakfast on the terrace to allow you to enjoy this panorama in peace.

Of Franco-Indonesian origin, and a graduate of the Lausanne Hotel School Management, Nathalie has gained 10 years of experience in the hotel industry in South-East Asia and Paris. In May 2018, she decided with her husband to settle in Ducey, once again reconnecting with the art of hospitality.

Pleasant and very relaxing stay

We recently stayed for four nights in a charming cottage, and it was a wonderfully pleasant and relaxing experience. The cottage itself was cozy, well-maintained, and beautifully furnished, offering a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. The peaceful garden at the back made it an ideal retreat, with nature just outside the door, creating a tranquil atmosphere that was incredibly rejuvenating. One can easily forget that one side of the cottage was facing the main road. We would like to especially thank our host, Nathalie, who was very friendly and welcoming, ensuring everything was in place for a comfortable stay. We particularly appreciated the attention to detail, from the fully stocked kitchen to the thoughtful welcome touches. Overall, our time at the cottage was exactly what I needed—a serene escape from the everyday hustle. We left feeling refreshed and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place close to Mont Saint Michel and central to exploring many other locations in Normandy and east Brittany.

Wir wurden zu Beginn von Natalie, der Vermieterin, durch die Räume geführt und bekamen alles erklärt, dabei war sie sehr freundlich und hochprofessionell. Während unserer 10 Tage blieb sie völlig im Hintergrund, obwohl sie gleich nebenan wohnt und dort im Haupthaus auch noch weitere Zimmer vermietet. Über Whatsapp blieben wir in Kontakt, alles sehr dezent und unaufdringlich.Zur Wohnung: einfach herrlich. Eine komplett ausgestattete Küche mit Essbereich und Blick in den Garten, einfach traumhaft! Das Wohnzimmer und die Schlafzimmer waren stilvoll eingerichtet, gemütlich und alles wirkte heimelig.Darüberhinaus war die gesamte Wohnung blitzblank sauber!Kurze Wege in den Ort zum Bäcker, zu Restaurants, in Boutiquen und jeden Dienstag zum Markt (unbedingt besuchen!).Dazu das wunderbare Angebot an Reisezielen in der Nähe, egal ob Städte oder Strände oder eben Mont St. Michel, das von hier gleich früh morgens besucht werden kann (so früh wie möglich !!!), weil es quasi vor der Türe liegt.Diese Wohnung ist ein kleines Paradies, in dem wir uns 10 Tage lang pudelwohl gefühlt haben und in dem wir gerne noch länger geblieben wären.Vielen lieben Dank, liebe Natalie, es war fantastisch!Sandra, Greta und Lukas

Ferienhaus von Madam Natalie

Madam Natalie ist eine gute Gastgeberin. Die Lage der Ferienwohnung ist perfekt für kulturelle Unternehmungen, aber auch für Badeurlaub. Es gibt viele schöne Strände in der näheren Umgebung und lebt ruhig und idyllisch in einem wunderschönen, individuell eingerichteten Haus. Wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen.

Gîte décoré avec goût, très fonctionnel, une très bonne literie et au calme disposant d'une belle luminosité et d'un beau jardin avec un espace privatif.
