The suite we stayed in was in need of a major cleaning. The tile floors grout which was a light grey behind the bathroom door was black everywhere else. The floor also felt sticky. The room had new carpeting but the furniture felt like it had a film on it that needed to be cleaned. The toilet seat was broken and needed to be replaced and the room door could not be locked using the dead bolt. The hotel is easy to drive past at night because there where no lights on the outside of the hotel, nor was there a lighted sign. We had to wait to check out and get a receipt due to only one man knowing how to use the computer to check us out. He was taking a shower and we waited fifteen minutes for him to finish. This was 9:30am. The family that runs the hotel lives on site. The hotel is inexpensive but you should expect it to be clean and functional.
Not the "top of the line", but not the "bottom of the barrel". People were friendly. Room was ok. I could swear there was a fingernail clipping on the bathroom counter when we arrived. I rinsed it down the drain. Thank goodness I'm not a "germ-a-phobe", but I am a clean fanatic. Just makes you wonder about the rest of the room. Breakfast was good. Overall, it was "fine".
Easy-to-find location close to highways and local amenities and restaurants. Excellent value for basic motel offerings with self-served substantial breakfast options included in price. Staff was friendly, professional and efficient. Clean rooms with daily cleanings and extras(refrig, microwave, liquid soaps). Relative to offerings, couldn't do better for my family experience and price expectations!! Thanks for our comfortable two day stay.
We chose this hotel due to its location. The HBO wasn't working, the HBO guide, that was in the room, was from May (2 months old), the waffles were the only hot item offered for breakfast, the counter the breakfast items were served on was dirty and so were some of the tables. The gentleman at the front desk provided us with all the necessary information regarding our room, but he never smiled or made us feel welcome. The bed was comfortable. The room served it's purpose.
I stayed in a king room that had a nice recliner. Mini-fridge and microwave in room. Overwhelming smell of Indian food throughout first floor but fortunately the room smelled fresh. Bed OK to average. Lots of good lighting which is sorely lacking in many motels.
Hotel was clean. Gentleman at the desk was very pleasant and asked if everything was OK each time we saw him. Eating area was very small. The only hot food was waffles. The only real down side we found was that the hotel ad says that it has a mineature golf course but we never found it. We would stay there again.
Stayed here a week. Front desk/ owners very friendly and helpful. Price was very good. Room was clean ,no bugs ,no smells . Comfortable bed ,TV good ,heat/ ac good. It's not a 4 star hotel, but well worth the price. I would stay again ,only two hotels in town so . Later
We were very concerned about this location but only place we could find. Past experience with this change has mot been good. However this location was awesome. VERY clean. Seems to be redone and done right not like other America Best Value Inns. Highly recommed this location
New paint, new carpeting make for a nice improvement. New management were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was free and several different choices. Enough parking for everyone. Cost is on the low end and cheap than the other motel
I spent three weeks at ABVI in Manchester, and loved it because it was a great value. It must have been recently renovated because almost everything in the rooms (I had two at different times) was fairly new, clean, etc. The AC worked well. Satellite TV worked well. Refrigerator worked. Bathrooms were modern, clean, with good lighting, etc. The free wifi always worked well. Management and staff were always nice, pleasant, and helpful whenever I needed something. Wide concrete walking/jogging/biking paths go past the front and rear of the hotel. There is a small self-serve laundry room available during the day and evening. Continental breakfast was always well-stocked and fresh. Local and state newspapers are available to read for free. The hotel and parking lot are well-lit and safe, and the hotel is in a nice open area on the main road through town. It's conveniently located near a few good local restaurants, a nice 24-hour store, Wal-Mart, etc.
