I was on a business trip, from Milano to Spalato, and then we needed to go to Montenegro (Kataro). Unfortunatelly, our flight 643 was cancelled, due to very bad weather (it was strong wind) and we needed to stay at Dubrovnik for our next flight. Our business company booked this hotel and that was perfect move. Reception staff was very hapefull. They gave us apartamento with perfectto view on promenade. Breakfast was excellent and they gave us some discontto for dinner, which was fabouloso. During the day we where on the walking tour at Dubrovnik and visit ancient city walls. I will be back at this hotel, this summer with my wife and kids, of course !
Hotel was located perfectly close to the sea. Room was very clean and newly renovated. Very nice breakfast. Highly reccomend staff especially at reception.Bonus was nice hotel restaurant for dinner. Waiter Danir was particularly professional.
At arrival I was not able to get the room I ordered: double rum for one person, I got a single rum. During my stay most of the other quests were school classes on trip without supervision. The feeling was a Youth Hostel with youngsters shouting and running from to room through the nights. This should be told before my booking. Otherwise the hotel was clean and close to the sea and bus connections. The staff had little knowledge of english so the communication was not the best.
I would like to say that I was very pleased with their services. I have spent three nights and the location is perfect. Nearby is the main beach. The staff were polite and the appartment was spacious. I will recommend this private nice hotel to my friends. See you again.
We had a lovely meal on the beautiful pedestrian mall in Dubrovnik. The pasta with mushrooms and salad was much more then the two of us could share. They also provide a tuna appetizer and bread. Attentive staff and good prices.
The hotel is situated in Lapad, in a nice setting with the rocky beach and bay just a 2 minute walk away. Dubrovnik old town is a 15 minute bus ride away, the buses pick up close to the hotel and are frequent. The rooms were clean and comfortable and we paid for the breakfast which was more than adequate. Some good restaurants and bars nearby too.
My first room was a nightmare. The door locked while I was inside and would not open. The air conditioner blew hot air. They could not figure out where to put me as there were others inour group with problems, as well. They offered free dinner to those who had room problems but not me. By midnight, they found a "newly renovated" room in another part of the hotel. The problem was the door that lead to the bar outside did not lock. I had to put a chair to keep it shut. Also, the paint was fresh and it was hard to breath. The bed sheets were filthy and I found some hair on the bottom sheet. The pillow cases were filthy as well. I used the pillow case that I brought for my dirty laundry. There was no toilet paper and I was told that I could use the facial tissue that was in the bathroom. After I complained to the front desk, I was told that I was the first occupant since the renovation and therefore the room was not cleaned. On the way to my room, a guy almost pushed me out because he was in a hurry. The following morning, that guy was working in the restaurant. The staff was rude except for a young housekeeper who was new. I felt sorry for her. Garbage was scattered outside the building and brooms were strewn all over the place. Since we were staying there for two days, I asked if I could move to another room. An older gentleman told the front desk clerk to give me a free tour to "shut me up" so I could them a good review if I happened to be a reviewer. I did not get a free tour. I was already on a tour! They did not know that I was a reviewer. The location was good and the outside looked good. However, the management was not caring at all. The hotel was badly maintained. Stay elsewhere. I had two sleepless nights there.
Stayed here for one night at the end of an Interpid tour. Outside of the old city but only a quick bus ride away. Generally a nice hotel with some really good restaurants nearby. Breakfast was pretty good and hotel staff were helpful.
Is just for the staff is fantastik the htl is rubbish the owner ask me 30kn fir print an excel 2 sheet @:(((((( is rated 3 star but is not need to be cleeeaneeed no shampoo ac not working at all dont go pls
Although an older hotel the staff more than made up for the experience we had here, it was fantastic, they helped with booking tours & activities and were just generally friendly and very accommodating. The location is perfect in a gated type community right on the beach (no vehicles in sight) and only a short bus ride to the Old City. We had a large room, large bathroom with great water pressure, the only negative is that the mattresses and pillows need urgent updating, really soft & worn. We stayed 3 nights really cheap and would definitely stay again (if I ever come back to Dubrovnik).
