The Space:

This large detached period property is full of charm and furnished with flair.



Entered via a private driveway with parking for several cars you enter through double doors to a welcoming entrance hall with a feature solid wood staircase, with gallery overlooking the reception area. Double doors open onto the main living room and immense dining room. All ground floor rooms benefit from french doors opening out onto the private patio area, which runs the length of the house, and is perfect for summer dining.



The formal dining area is the perfect place for entertaining guests.

A warm, inviting kitchen with breakfast bar, expansive counter space and dual-oven AGA leads to a casual living space with fireplace and TV unit.



A modern conservatory, filled with light and flowers, creates the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee, or glass of wine at sunset.



A separate utility room with extensive storage, modern utilities and access to the rear garden.



The master bedrooms is a very generous space with built-in wardrobes, dressing room and substantial dedicated en-suite.

Malahide nestles along a gorgeous stretch of Dublin bay's scenic coastline and is home to Malahide Castle - a must see. Malahide is home to some great restaurant options, some traditional bars and all the shops and facilities of a growing suburban town.

A piece of paradise just north of Dublin

Elgin is a stunning holiday rental which would be suitable for up to ten people, so the two of us and our two dogs were easily accommodated and were very comfortable and hugely relaxed.The extensive grounds were perfect for playing with our boys and Jonothan provided helpful instructions for closing the gates to Elgin as one of our two rescue dogs is prone to “a detailed and wide-ranging exploration” of his environs Closing the gates meant that Elgin’s gardens and the large lawns in front of the tennis court were all safely enclosed, and we could stop fretting about Freddie and enjoy games with them both, so thank you Jonothan, your help was invaluable and much appreciated The house was well equipped with every kitchen appliance you could need, including a dishwasher, and a washing machine and separate tumble dryer.A small library of books was also available and if books aren’t your thing, the house also had full Sky television enabling us to watch our usual UK news and other BBC and Channel 4 output.A huge amount of storage space is available which would make the house particularly suitable for, e.g. a long-term rental for work colleagues, especially as it’s only ten minutes’ drive from Dublin airport and its proximity to Dublin city centre.Thank you Duchamp Properties…we loved Elgin and hope to return
