I acknowledge I was forced to choose a 3-star due to the prices for my dates of travel, but even 3 stars have to reach certain cleanliness standards, especially during these times of heightened hygiene protocols. My room was tidy, but smelled bad and was not clean; the bathroom floor and toilet base was filthy with long, black hairs everywhere. The staff were untrustworthy and unprofessional. Check-in time was 4 pm. When you book, you just need a credit card to secure the reservation but you are free to pay at the property. I was really annoyed to arrive at the B B around 5.30 pm, and he had already charged another card. Very cheeky. That put me off. Signs everywhere saying masks must be worn in communal areas, but staff did not. Wifi was spotty and only worked well near reception. No phone in the room, so you have to go downstairs to ask a question. Worst of all, something of value was taken from my room. I don’t believe it was the chambremaid since they leave early in the day. I would advise any guest to stay elsewhere. It is close to the airport - a twenty minute walk - but honesty and cleanliness are more important than convenience.

Actually I haven’t stayed here — yet— because my flight from USA was cancelled earlier due to Covid19 restrictions— I couldn’t cancel my prepaid/nonrefundable booking, but I am praising the Glenmore House proprietors for allowing me a voucher to use within a year. And I fully intend to do so! Thank you for your courtesy, Glenmore House :) ! Go raibh maith agat!

Excellent location and parking but should have a little more variety for breakfast

Excellent service; very convenient to the airport.

The woman at the front desk was welcoming and provided great suggestions for meals after we checked in and taxi/transportation. Hotel is close to the airport. Clean and sufficient for a one night stay.

This property advertised a hot breakfast and we were told at check in that there would be a served breakfast after 7am and that before then it would be self service. There was nothing to eat for breakfast after 7am other than bread, cheese slices and salami slices. No eggs, ham, bacon, or anyone to serve us as advertised. Our bed sheets were yellowed and when we pulled back the covers there was dirt particles in the bed which we thought might be bed bugs but were in fact chunks of dirt. There was also no air circulation in our room and no fan in the bathroom.

The mattresses were worn out to the point that you could feel the box spring below. The breakfast was subpar. The hallway lights were not sufficient. The lack of communication 14-days prior to our arrival complicated our trip.

The carpet in the room was disgusting. Six stains that looked and smelled like pee spots. It needs a health department inspection. Service was blasse. Breakfast was minimal. I do not recommend.

It had everything you need (but not much more) at a very good price. Location is close to restaurants/shopping and airport.

We got to the hotel at 11 AM, but since our room was available, the hostess let us check-in early which was greatly appreciated. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The continental breakfast was OK. It was available from 4 AM or so. There is a shuttle to the airport for 3 Euro. There was a clear sign out at the main road indicating shuttle stop, so there was no confusion. We will stay here again if we visit Dublin again

Convenient for overnight stay for a connecting flight. Otherwise I'd find something else.

Fine for a one night stay before catching a flight.

We stayed here on our last night in Ireland. The family room was perfect for us, everyone with their own bed and we had enough space to move around. However, all the mattresses need replacement, they are either very poor quality or very old or both. Unfortunately, my husband wound up sleeping on the floor more comfortably.

Really appreciate that this facility was so close to the airport-really saved the stress of returning a rental car & catching an early flight as it is literally only 5 minutes away. It is an older building so don't expect a lot of amenities, but the staff was friendly and did the best they could with what they had. The breakfast was so-so but filling and it was quiet at night. Not sure they had air-conditioning, if so it didn't work very well. Close to Swords (a really nice place) & last minute shopping.

Very dated and run-down. Clean beds, friendly staff and convenient to bus routes, the airport and Swords are the only good qualities of this B&B. Other places are close by that have better facilities.

We expected a nicer more updated hotel. Everything looks old, and absolete. The cushions, the bedspread, the bed are not confortable. The pillow cases were dirty with hairs, and smelled like they had been used by someone else already. It is not worth it of your money. The breakfast was mediocre too.

Good price but hard mattress. Good basic continental breakfast, water pressure a little low, good heating, clean and recently renovated room.

Perfect for a stay close to the airport. Basic hotel, very nice staff. No fancy thrills. We would stay there again. We had a lovely large room for 2 adults and 2 children.
