Stayed here overnight for work, room had everything you needed, management was very friendly and inviting. The bed was super comfy. Breakfast arrived at required time was very tasty, would stay here again. :)
This hotel is very acceptable when going through Dubbo. The staff are very friendly and the room was very clean. The bed was comfortable as it has a fridge and microwave. There is free parking and a hairdryer
A quick work trip with few hotel options available. Basic, but comfortable. Quiet and well located. Good Thai restaurant across the road - 2 minutes walk. I can't rave about it, but I'd use it again in a pinch.
While the tuck away location may indicate a budget motel, I was pleasantly surprised by the rooms. Beds was comfortable, bathroom more than enough and fridge big enough for the couple of days we stayed.
Not the best motel around. The lady was very friendly and obliging but the man should stay behind the scene. We awoke at 6am to no electricity. Office does not open until 7.30am. So no good ordering an early breakfast. So our to find breaky and coffee. Mentioned it to the chap when we arrived back. Oh probably a fuse. No sorry can I go and look. It was clean but mentioned tap dripping in the bathroom and shower tap also coming away from the wall. But his attitude was that our water. Change the washer and glue metal back on. Easy fix. Would not rush back.
The best part of the motel was the price however you get what you pay for. The room was upstairs so we had to lug our luggage up and down the stairs the room was on the small size as was the bathroom. There was a light globe missing in one of the bed-side lights. The best was the free-wifi and there is a good thai restaurant straight across the road. As the price was a special our Comfort Inn card was refused.
I always stay in Choice Hotels, however this one was disappointing. The previous guests hair was all over the bathroom floor. The fridge wasn't cold enough even after increasing the temp. The bathroom was so small you couldn't fir two people in it and the space where the toilet is situated was tiny. The shower recess door was dirty. however the room was a decent size after a long day on the road and no inhouse restaurant very disappointing
We were travelling from Qld after driving all day and desperately needed to stop, I had wrongly read somewhere on the internet amongst the haste that the reception was open until 10pm, which was untrue & it was much earlier - my mistake I should have called ahead. We get into Dubbo at 9pm and the manager had put a sign on the door with my name and room number as well as stating that the key was left in the door - despite them having a lock box. We found this to be a disgusting invasion of privacy and safety. A local came to us shocked and concerned about it and told us how dangerous it could be, especially with many inebriated people walking by (which we witnessed as it was a weekend). We took the room as we were tired and it was cheap, but we got what we paid for. Sheets were dirty as was the carpet and tiles in bathroom with hair floating about. The hot and cold water were on the same tap despite there being two, controlling it was difficult and I burnt myself a few times. People were hooning past all night as well as other guests coming and going loudly all night and the manager was rude and barely spoke to us the next day. It's worth it to pay a bit more and go elsewhere.
I stopped overnight as it was a quick visit for a family matter. Great friendly staff who offered me a number of options for my stY and went out of their way to get me checked in early at my request. Clean room and very comfy bed. There was plenty of extra blankets and pillows although it was 32. Degrees so didn't bed them. The bathroom appeared to be merely renovated and was spotless. Good facilities with a restaurant and pool......and very close to the center of town.
Typical country deal out-dated rooms / in need of refreshment. Car park ridiculous! Too tight made for damage to your car -watch others and their swinging doors! Restaurant equipped with rudeness and overpriced - needs adjustment. Avoid unless necessary. Overall Comfort Inn was a bit disappointing.
