I stayed in the above hotel in 3rd week of July. The hotel was amazing and not far away from Dubai Opera, Dubai Mall & Burj Khalifa. It is located in the heart of Busines bay district. Dubai metro is not far away. Rooms were quite big in size, amenities were also good. Breakfast was great. People were friendly. overall it was a great stay.
It's all about the customer service ! And the oberoi goes all out . The rooms are spacious and with a bigggg bathroom . Special mention to the Nepresso machine. The location is just great . Very close to the Dubai mall and the Burj Khalifa . They have free shuttle running to and back from the Mall. However if you miss those a cab ride is only around 15 AED. The breakfast is a good size spread. A lot of veggie options. The chef comes around and ask if you feel like having anything special for next day ; seriously great staff. We ordered room service twice the food was great though on the expensive side. However you can food delivered to the hotel from many restaurants- we tried operation falafel and carcullio or soemthing from the dubai mall. One evening my daughter was too tired and we asked for a stroller for our dinner at JBR. The hotel produced one in 15 minutes. Again I can't say how great their customer service is. Highly recommended this place ; my only negative was we were stuck in rooms with construction view and it's really horrible.
My stay was directly after coming from Paris . 5 star hotel at Dubai is significantly different than 5 star hotel at Paris My room was normal room but it was really amazing : Space is too large , furniture v.modern It looks like it is a suite not normal room Staff very professional Great hospitality Room cleaning twice daily Breakfast very good Really one of best luxurious hotel I had ever stayed in.
To be honest I visited Oberoi (just for one night) with very high standards and eventually I would not say I was disappointed but did not made it up to my expectations. The room was great, the view is amazing and the staff was very helpful and friendly. We had a drink at the Iris rooftop bar before going to dinner and it was quite pleasant except the fact that people were smoking inside. What was super amazing was the breakfast we had with lots of choices for a la cart omelets, eggs, pancakes etc and a huge buffet with all sorts of great things. What worth mentioning is that we tried something sweet and afterwards asked the waitress to tell us the name of the sweet. Without a 2nd though she called the pastry chef who came out himself and explained what it was how they prepared it and minutes later also send me the recipe in my email. Thank you Oberoi and Mr. Rajeev. Krishnan
I had a confusing check-in and again at checkout, in fact, they retained some money from my card that I haven't seen back yet. They should take care of this in hotels pretending to be luxury, it gives very bad impression. The room was fine, but the view to inner patio was deceiving in contrast with the view my job colleagues got with the same reservation. Also their service room was better than mine, I felt like a punished guest when my friends had chocolates and fruit and I didn't, and when I found remains such empty bottles from previous guests. I'll never come back to this hotel, but the Peruvian restaurant inside well deserves another visit.
I got the chance to visit Dubai Oberoi already 4 times. We travel the world and have stayed at all different hotels in Dubai, Singapore, Maldives, Los Angeles, London and New York and several hotels in Dubai. Dubai Oberoi: From the arrival to the departure I found the team so extremely comforting that I felt like the only guest. The atmosphere in the Lobby, the smell, the FO team as well as the butlers and housekeepers make you feel so special. We had a super suite with personalized arrival VIP amenities. The Rooms are luxury and stylish, not posh. Housekeeping is doing an excellent job at the Oberoi. I like that the hotel does not show any marks of use such as I experienced in other hotels. The rooms look like brand new at all times. The pool is very large and allows a high amount of privacy. The BFast buffet gives you a challenge as it is huge. I will never forget the waffle sticks:-) Even through the Oberoi Dubai is a city hotel it feels like coming home every time. best regards, Maximilian Ebner-Huemer
Oberoi Dubai is a great city hotel which has taken care of all the minute details which a guest would love inside and outside the room's. It was my wife's 🎂 and upon informing the Oberoi Team, our room was well decorated and a cake from the team with a bunch of flowers and a cute card. We felt so much taken care. The room we had was awesome. I loved the motorized blinds for the room and the washroom. Temp was nicely maintained and the huge French Windows gave us good views. The in room cofee maker with 3 pints of cofee beans is a good display of in house options. The mini bar is well laid out. Another big highlight we found was that numerous bottles of drinking water were available in the room rather than the contrary of 2-3 bottles. Washroom was massive and the standalone soaking bath tub was perfect. Our little one didn't want to leave the tub. The breakfast at Nine7One was the icing on the cake to our perfect stay. Great oberoi team inside the restaurant, especially Mr. VIHEESH who attended us in our table taking good care of us. Th e breakfast spread was wonderful and had good choices of Indian, continental food. Swimmming Pool is well maintained and well kept. We loved the overall stay to our hearts content.
It was a good experience ill do it again the price was nice and the location is perfect the staff was very nice and friendly the size bigger than i expected but they have a one problem the entrance of the hotel its like a puzzle and if u want to walk around the hotel by walking its hard to get out this hotel designed to come by car and get out by car but in general i like and ill do it again and i recommend it
Great property to stay at, the staff are very accommodating and helpful with information. The rooms are large and generous. Taxis are the go for travel as it is some distance from the metro in the heat of the day. Ensure you get a metered taxi not the vehicle used by the hotel masquerading as a taxi....it is a hire car that will cost you twice that of a regular taxi. The souks are an experience and safe to wander around. We also did high tea at the Burj Al Arab which, while expensive, is not to be missed. The Oberoi runs a complementary shuttle to the Dubai Mall which is also worth doing if you like going to massive shopping centres....or perhaps you could just go for the indoor aquarium. Expensive is an accurate description and seems to be only patronised by a few tourists cos there were hardly anyone there...certainly not the local workforce. Our main focus at the Oberoi was to break up the flight home to Australia from Europe and relax after an action packed holiday, plus we had not been the UAE. The lovely pool was relaxing which we had mostly to ourselves.
Myself and my husband stayed 5 nights from 29/5 until 3/6/2017 , we arrived early from an overnight flight and we were allowed an early check in and showed to our room . Our room was beautiful and what a very nice surprise we were given balloons all over the bed , swans at the end of the bed covered in rose petals chocolates, a bouquet of beautiful flowers , Aniversary chocolate cake and then when we went into the bathroom a hot bath had been ran covered in red rose petals . We were well and truly spoilt from our first day until our last day . I've stayed in 5 and 6 star hotels all over the world and i have to say we recieved the best service ever !!! I would highly Recomended this hotel great rooms , lovely pool with excellent sevive even bringing you iced cold sun creams, cooling facial spray , iced bottles of water and cold flannels throughout the day.. Also I have to mention Ananta Indian restaurant was absolutely amazing 5 star food and 5 star service . Overall brillauant stay , all staff give the best service in all areas and we both Carnot wait to return 😊 Thank you everyone at hotel Oberio xxxx
