I only stayed here for one night, however it was enough to fall In love with this place. Our room was facing the race tracks, witch ware in preparation for the following week World Cup. The room was huge with hidden wardrobes, round bath with glass windows for the main room.. really interesting decor! The lobby is fascinating it self, think the infinity pool was a little too small for the hotel size, however it’s very relaxing. Highly recommend it!
Just spent three mostly amazing days at the Meydan in Dubai. My review will consist of positives and negatives and this will explain why I gave 4 instead of 5 stars and hopefully the management will take this into account. Positives: Amazing property, landscaping and finishes throughout were top notch. We had three rooms and the finishes and amenities in each room were well deserving of 5 stars. Comfortable king sized beds and a single spare bed for the children were provided free of charge. Beautiful view of the Dubai skyline at night and a not so busy feel like the downtown hotels have was welcomed. The concierge service and room service were second to none, very organized. They were helpful in booking our safari, speedboat and airport taxi rides as well as obtaining reservations for a few restaurants. Cost of going to the airport in a booked taxi was 80 AED and a trip downtown was about 40 AED and about 15 minutes. The negatives: Although the breakfast was very good, it could have been excellent. The waffles and pancakes were not up to western standards, the choice of cereals for the children was very limited, I mean who's kids want Corn Flakes or Fiber Plus cereal? Perhaps putting Lucky Charms, Froot Loops and other kid friendly cereals should be looked at. Other than that the breakfast was great, made to order eggs and omelettes were excellent, a large fruit selection and breads of all types were available. The other negative we found was the fact that the rooftop pool was closed for maintenance on a SUNDAY!!! Weekends are a busy time for tourists are they not? Then why on earth would you pick a Sunday to do pool maintenance? Do it on a Monday or Tuesday, not on a weekend! I also played a 9 hole round of golf at the Meydan and was extremely frustrated at having to wait 30 minutes at 11 pm at night to wait to get picked up by someone in a golf cart. This is very unorganized stuff for such a high caliber property. All in all I would highly recommend the Meydan
The stay was wonderful, apart from a discourtueous reception employee being curt on the last night. Overall other staff including cleaners were overwhelmingly helpful and went out of the way. Rooms cleaned twice a day. A little noisy with world cup preparations and sound through night. But the luxurious grounds and surroundings make it a must to stay during your trip.
A special breakfast at the hotel before touring the stables and grounds was a delightful treat for our Gate 1 Discovery Tour group of 22. One of the finest meals we had during our 12 days in the UAE & Oman, it featured superbly prepared omelets, grilled tomatoes, Chinese dumplings, Chinese noodles, veal bacon, and grilled mushrooms, to name a few of the dishes, along with a magnificent array of local cheeses. The dining area was beautiful, well appointed, and overlooked the race track. What a fantastic memory to carry home!
Stayed there for 3 weeks and had a lovely 2 room suite but all rooms are fantastic. Stunning view on the horse racing course, delicious asian restaurant, probably the best streak restaurant in town, overall delicious kitchen, an impressive infinity pool, etc...
Meydan Hotel Dubai❤ If you haven't seen the stars while you have stayed in a beautiful place. Have you even enjoyed it? ◽◽◽◽◽◽◽◽◽◽◽◽◽◽ Hotel Review❤ I have to say, this is one of the hotels that I have stayed in with amazing Modern Interior and Architecture. The ambience has its own vibe and class. I was taken away by the spacious suite and especially it's breathtaking view of the race horse from the balcony. The size of the bedroom and the bathroom surely made me feel like a Queen and I was completely driven away by its exclusive amenities. Food💯 Room💯 Staff💯 View💯 Swimming Pool💯 My recommendation for this hotel is a💯
We came here for breakfast and a tour. The breakfast was superb-they had the freshest lox and several breakfast choices. We ate outside overlooking the racetrack. The hotel is beautiful and we toured the grounds. Great tour and we saw some of the horses in their stalls and getting showered. Beautiful place, I only wish we were staying here overnight!!
Basically they are thousands of hotels worldwide but you can call a very few hotels the best hotels whom you really want to go back to again and again and again. I have stayed with palace hotels, luxurious hotels, ultramodern hotels, etc. all over the world but just luxury isn’t enough and a hotel isn’t complete without an amazing and polite staff. Since my first introduction with The Meydan Hotel in 2016 I haven’t stayed in any other hotel in Dubai since then. At times I changed my flights just because Meydan was fully booked. Though I have my own house in Dubai still I prefer to stay in Meydan as it is home for me. From the chauffers to bell boys to security officers to concierge to receptionist to waiters to room service executives to butlers to the guest relation, restaurant and lounge managers to the General Manager everyone always carry a big smile and deserves a standing ovation and not to forget the pianist who plays the piano so perfectly at the lobby and she is always smiling. It is a very famous saying that an Orchestra can never be perfectly played without a great Maestro and in the case of Meydan I must say that Reuben the General Manager is the perfect Maestro of Meydan. It’s very rare that you meet the GM of a hotel and in the case of Meydan only after seeing the perfection I requested an introduction with the GM. The brand ambassadors of Meydan who really impressed me and made me call Meydan my home are, 1. Eslam Okasha, Duty Manager - A true hotelier with a million $ smile. His soft and kind words specially at the time of checkin relaxes me even after my longest flights. He just makes me feel that I am back home. I will not be surprised to see him becoming the youngest General Manager. 2. Mohamed Ayed, Guest Service Executive - I must say that he is another finest hoteliers who I have come across in my life. He make sure that all my needs are catered too. With a big smile he greets each and every guest. 3. Akhil Vyas, Assistant Front Office Manager - A hotelier with a great convincing skills. He is very good at convincing upset guests with the right words and smile and then he make sure that the guest forget what have happened. Basically he knows how to press a reset button of an upset guest. 4. Salman Fariz, Waiter - Another shining star Meydan, I remember meeting him when he was at the pool and I gave him the task of making a special mocktail drink for me and I was blown away with his creativity. I am sure he will go far in life. 5. Jishu Shibu, Bartender - A great waiter who knows how to serve a guest and make sure that all the needs of the guest are met. 6. Gopal Lamichhane, Waiter - Another great hotelier and salesman who knows exactly which starter, soup, snack, drink, etc. to suggest to the guest depending on their mood. Always smiling and smartly dressed. 7. Natalia, Waitress - A new member of Meydan who is serving the guest very well. She indeed have a million $ smile and and she make sure the guest is smiling when they leave. 8. Peter, House Keeping Supervisor - When you come back to your room after a long day of work and find ur room smell so good and it is perfectly cleaned then it is all because of this gentleman who is always behind the curtains. He makes sure that your room is perfectly cleaned and smells amazing. I have forgotten few more names of amazing hoteliers which I wanted to add to the list but in the future I will. Anyways I wish the best to the entire team of Meydan and I want to see, The Meydan Hotel ranked as the No. 1 hotel of Dubai.
We had an amazing time in this luxurious hotel and so special restaurant “Prime Steak House” for Valentine’s Day. 6 course dinner were served on the table by so professional staff. Our favorite were steaks and lovely desserts. The atmosphere is so pleasant and restaurant style so unique..proper Arabic high class. Thanks a lot to manager Omar for looking after us. Highly recommended for romantic dinner.
The Meydan at Meydan horsetrack is maybe not the most logical choice in Dubai but it's a top 5 Star experience away from the crowds in an interesting setting. ( Loved the architecture and terras view on the lush green racetrack.
