We had amazing time visiting the meydan golf club. The Director of the golf club gave us a great experience by letting us play some golf. i think 35 dhs to play golf is very ethical and really not to be missed
Amazing Ramadan tent, this all combines to the setup, tasty food, service and hospitality by the waiters. Had a splendid Iftar evening, We will also hold our Company team Iftar this coming week - Really Not to be missed this Ramadan!
Me and my friend visited the Ramadan Tent today in the Meydan Hotel, I had such a tasty dessert - date pudding , really so delicious 😌. Good service, polite staff, nice shisha and very attentive hookah man👍👍
Loved loved loved this hotel! The definition of refined luxury without being overwhelming. The rooms are the most spacious rooms you can find in Dubai, but not only that- they are welcoming, contemporary and as a woman, I just love the wardrobe space- I thought we were traveling with so much stuff as a family of 4, but we had abundant space left for storage. The hotel also offers good dining options- loved the Asian restaurant, and breakfast was very good as well. A big recommendation for conferences and events- we loved the skyline view of Dubai where one can see the Burj Khalifa and Burj Al Arab together. Having experienced the restaurant Sky Bubble for New Year's Eve was an amazing experience. The staff of the hotel are very friendly and to top it up, the hotel has an adjacent night club called White which is rated as one of the best in Dubai.
This was our third visit to the Meydan Hotel . We have been twice for the horseracing which is fantastic . Our last stay recently was for 10 nights for a holiday and they never let us down. The staff from checking in to the hotel then getting a driver to take you to the airport when you leave was excellent. The staff at the hotel went out of their way to make our stay the best. I think they are attentive to your needs, the service is fantastic and add that to lovely amenities the hotel has its so relaxing and we highly recommend a visit to the Meydan Hotel. Just like to say Thank You and wil be back for a visit again.
I can't say i had a good stay here and here's why. I'd made an error when i booked on booking.com. I thought i'd booked two rooms on half board basis, but upon check in it turned out i'd only booked one, with the second room having B&B. The Check-In staff quoted me a price to uplift the second room to Half Board which was agreed and "arranged for you sir". When my colleague arrive this was not the case, so whilst i could eat in the restaurant in my rate, my colleague had to pay - and it wasn't cheap. The food i have to say was of good quality and with much variety although there wasn't a lot of people dining in any of the restaurants. In fact during my 4 night stay i hardly saw a sole. The hotel has around 240 rooms and i'd wager that there were no more than 50 people staying. i wonder why? It was quite far out of town, and joined to a racetrack with no races so.... The rooms were very nice and clean. Good TV stations available too. Rooms either face the racetrack or the city of Dubai. The Gym and pool were always quiet (due to the low occupancy). Gym was well equipped with good quality equipment, free cold towels and chilled water. The main pool (there are two) was situated on the roof facing the racetrack. It servers cold drinks and is open till 7pm. This is going to sound harsh, but it's an observation made by both myself and my colleague. Most the staff seemed miserable, unfriendly and somewhat lacking personality, with the exception of the leisure staff and Farrier restaurant staff. The check in and bar staff were all pretty miserable. Wifi was free and of a reasonable level and coverage. To get anywhere from the hotel you'll need a cab, which concierge will be happy to arrange for you, however, on every occasion i asked for a cab i was advised that the cab will take 20-40 minutes to arrive BUT they do have a hotel car available immediately (at a vastly higher cost). Yet, on each occasion i declined the offer of the hotel car a taxi arrived within 10 minutes. Worth noting if your in a rush to get to the Airport. So, with careless check-in, poor staff, low occupancy and being 20-30 mins out of town i'd prefer to choose a different hotel next time, and there is plenty to choose from in Dubai.
The hotel is considered one of the best in region, comapiring to other high rates hotels the price is quite reasonable. Very recommended to pamper yourself. Certenly its a dream to be added in your bucketlist
We spent one night at the Meydan, it was the May Ball for the sailing club. Excellent hotel and facilities. Have stayed at other hotels in the group (Bab El Shams) but the Meydan mad our stay fantastic. Very attentive staff, clean facilities, stunning room with view over racecourse, comfortable bed. Could not have been better, only longer!
A great hotel let down by its reception staff. We travelled with 2 kids aged 6 & 7 who after a 8 hour flight arriving at 1am didn't want to wait while we were upsold a suite. Or wait an hour for the extra beds which were discussed twice via email before our arrival to be put into room. Other than this we had a great stay. The staff at breakfast were amazing & couldn't have done more to accommodate us.
The rooms were quite spacious and well laid out. The beds comfortable, the service prompt and courteous. The food was good. Its all very high-tech. Free wifi (yay!) but the bathroom definitely needed a manual. Ask the hotel to talk you through the buttons in the bathroom especially for adjusting the temperature. Otherwise you would scald yourself.
