This hotel is nowhere like a chain. It s a very asian style hotel. It s fun, tonfind the exotic buffet in the lobby at reasonnable price and the night club on the mezzanine floor: rockys cafe! that roars with happy customers and the dance floor is packed! good bands and great organizers. I like to take dumplings in the thai restaurant , Coastal Bait.
Stayed there for 3 nights. Centrally located, and most of the city attractions are nearby. They have variety of options in outlets, bar, night clubs. Food at the restaurant is good. Do try their food at seafood restaurant. Rooms are clean and spacious. The staff need some training . Overall had a good time.
Nice location thats what I like most. Easily accessible. Shopping facilities and metro station is very close by. Staffs are not friendly. Good for solo / leisure Travelers. There are bars/night clubs within the hotel.
Ok it was an afternoon visit, fair enough, although they have renovated the bar, it seems to have changed, a lot, into an Indian bar with cricket or some other channel a couple of randoms, cheap buying customers, want on the screens and MTV India on the other TV screens, give it a miss and head to Longs Bar or The Marina if you want to watch something else on the TV, I have visited here many, many times and it was previously a very good bar, but never again 😳
There's nothing spectacular about this hotel. I will say that the bed was quite comfortable and I noticed upon check-in there's a night club in the front lobby by the entrance. We stayed here for just one night, I requested a wake up call in which I never received. Across the street is a great pizza shop and a shopping mall.
The most greatest part of this hotel is its location. It's located in center of dubai next to burjuman metro station. Burjuman shopping center just opposite to the hotel. Very near to meena bazar and bur Dubai and al karama market. But I would say it's not 4 star hotel as they show on internet. Rooms needs some maintenance work. Buffet Breakfast- Verity is good but taste should b improvement.
Unfortunately this is a Hotel that could do a whole lot better. They have yet to grasp the International nature of the Hotel business rather than pandering to the third continent and their attitude to customer service. Physically good Hotel, but as rightly expressed but other reviewers, it is very poor at maintaining the lowest standard of cleanliness. The rooms are pleasant, but the first day my wife concluded the towels smelt of old stale soap. the pillow on the bed seemed like a bag full of cotton wool balls -lumpy and bumpy. Also the pillow case was greasy as if a previous customer had laid there. [also confirmed by a big greasy mark on the head board of someone's slick hair] The bedside light was swinging from its connection, with wires showing. A possible electrocution hazard. The bathroom had poor fitments and a bath which had seen better days as the enamel had gone from the inside. I unfortunately lost a camera in a taxi that dropped us at the hotel and the staff exuded the usual - not really interested attitude but will go through the motions process. It was not until a day later that I was advised by a taxi driver that CCTV cameras existed. When I approached the hotel it took two days to have the footage available, which surprisingly stopped thirty minutes before the time we arrived. A suitable excuse being offered of ran out of tape, down for maintenance, cannot remember now, but far far too late to have helped. I have been caught but my own economy, it was cheap and I suffered. My point is to buy cheap should not affect the basis standards called for in International travel, especially when it comes to hygiene. A very poor show.
I've stayed less around 6 hours in this hotel and wouldn't dream of staying longer. I arrived at 2 am in the morning, the reception was very warm and welcoming, got a glass of cold mango juice and dates while waiting for the receptionist to finish my check in process. Room was ok, everything in their right order. What made me rate it low is because of its cleanliness. The bath tub and shower area is filthy, blonde hairs on the sink (ive got black hair). Toothbrush and toothpaste is not a part of their basic toiletries (charged at 15 AED).
Booked this hotel for my parents for 3 day stopover. Overall experience was good. Reservation process was good and timely reply, pick and drop off to airport was good. Decent breakfast items. Wifi did not work inside the room.
I stayed for 7 days in February. Got amazing deal. Location of the hotel is superb. Everything food, restaurants, metro station nearby. its centre of location. Rooms were neat and clean and specious. Always book rooms on higher floor with road facing view.
