Good location, friendly service, rooms are spacious, but the decor and cleanliness is getting stale and run down. Probably most of the rooms need to be refurbished. Toilet facilitates are good, clean. Wifi is also quite good, but could be faster.
The wifi is the worst I have ever encountered at a hotel in Dubai and this is not the first time staying here. I had the same issues on my last stay. No room service menu in the room. The breakfast is limited and I did not even make the effort in the morning, I bought my own groceries and ate in my room.
The location is great where i can find a mosque at the back of the hotel and in front the shopping centre. The working staff is great specially the concierge ( thumbs up for all these magnificent guys) is always ready to help you also the manager Mr Nabeel. Consequently the gm and the assistant is not friendly and far from helpful. Need to be more proactive with their guest.
I checked in yesterday to NDCC and am quite disappointed by the service received. First it took me some time to find the hotel, and I am very familiar with Dubai and driving around tue city, as the hotel was purely lit and no signs were provided. I am a Gold member of LeClub but no one really cares here. I did not receive any perks associated with my membership but was charged 250 dirhams without any receipt or explanation even though my stay was fully paid in advance. I booked for three adults, as my son is 17 years old, but the additional bed was not ready at arrival, it is also too short. Also why is it so hard to provide the correct number of towels for three people? Besides that the area around the pool is so dirty that my feet were black after walking around for a couple of minutes. The noise from the airport can be heard all night with closed windows. On the good side the rooms are ok. I will stay for the remainder as I have prepaid but I am never coming back.
I have been staying at this hotel for many years and it was never so bad as it was this time. Being vacation time, this place was completely booked and I must say the hotel is short of staff in addition to short of Towels, short of cutlery. It was a common sight every morning while having breakfast for people looking for spoons and plates. The advantage this hotel has is that it is located just 5-7 minutes from Dubai International Airport and is just 2 minutes walk from Deira City Centre. You can expect some disappointment whenever this property is booked beyond 50% occupancy, if you are lucky, you can expect a decent service otherwise. I was made to stay in a room ( # 230 ) which was meant for Handicapped, extremely bad bathroom, seemed like staying in a hospital. From my side, I do not wish to stay again at this property and would neither recommend to anyone
Novotel was a perfect venue for a short city stay. Located conveniantly opposite Deira City Center and easy access to the metro as well as shops and taxis. Clean, and neat .Would stay here again for a short trip.
As usual never disappoints. Staff is very helpful. Mr. Mina at the front desk specially. Breakfast was good. Nearest to Deira City Centre. Excellent connectivity. Rooms are spacious. Being an Accor member, Adds up to the experience.
We are a family of 4(parents and 2 kids-4yrs old and 18 yrs.old).Arrived there at around 5pm and yet our room is not ready yet. I am a silver account with accor so they gave us a welcome drinks and told us we can use it while waiting our room to be prepared. My husband wanted a beer so we were told we could only drink it at the their bar, went there instead and this bartender looked at us eye to eye while we entered, without saying any word. People were smoking and as we were about to order, we were told kids as are not allowed. The next day, my husband called the room service and asked if we could have our welcome drinks just serve at our room since we can’t stay at the bar, we were told again, no we can only have it at the bar. But when we checked at the room service order form, they can actually deliver alcoholic drinks at the rooms. So I talked to this very rude manager and he said the welcome drinks is not a service. Very slow and poor customer service. We were not even informed that our room is beside a mosque so imagine our surprise being awaken at 5am. The rooms are not properly isolated as you can hear children screaming and running at the corridors. The breakfast buffet is another disappointment as there are not too much variety of food. I would advise anyone planning to book at this hotel to stay away from it.
Had a great experience. Stayed in the hotel for 9 nights. Hotel staff are very good and hospitable. Even the breakfast is good. Wifi is good. Alright we had a very nice and good experience staying in this hotel. It's very new to the Metro
The staff at Novotel Dubai couldn't do enough. They were charming, efficient and generous with their knowledge. This hotel is full of surprises, many of which we discovered progressively. The wonderful rooftop pool area, next to the Italian restaurant with a view and good coffee. The generous self serve breakfast and smorgasbord lunch both of which enabled you to travel the world, culinarily speaking. We will certainly stay again but perhaps not on a Friday when many places we wanted to see were shut (fair enough).
