I will highly recommend the property to friends & colleagues. I have always stayed at JBR but found this property even better than that, Everything about this property was perfect & up to the mark, loved it .
Right next to a world class shopping mall. Highly recommended for family, couples or business men and women. Food and services is excellent. Gym and pools I top quality. Great location if you have business in the Jebl Ali area.

We stopped in Dubai for a few days after the Maldives. We stayed at the Movenpick Ibn Battuta Gate on an 'all inclusive' basis. The hotel is fantastic, very plush, beautifully presented, the staff are more than helpful, nothing to much bother for them. The breakfasts were on a buffet basis, cereals, fruit, cooked stuff, breads, cheeses and cold meats, something for everyone. Evening meals were in different restaurants on the ground floor, Itailian, Morrocan, Chinese and local. We only ate once in the evening having the Italian. It was a la carte, absolutely fantastic, beautiful wine, well served, all you have to do is sign for it at the end!! There is a bar for drinks although this wasn't well explained to us, we did find it on the second night and the 3rd night found out it had an outside terrace. Rooms were very nice, not overly huge but very clean and well presented. Had a large Queen size bed, walk in shower and bath with all the lotions, potions and towels you'll need. The view from our room wasn't the best, the de-salination plant and motorway, didn't bother us too much. There was an outdoor swimming pool, a gym and spa all on the 8th floor, we used the pool late one afternoon, they supply towels and comfy beds, pretty cool . Although we had a look in the gym and spa we didn't use these facilities, the gym was free but you had to pay for spa treatments. We had an 'executive' room which gave us access to an executive room on the 9th floor. We had breakfast there with all the same food as the ground floor restaurant except it only had facilities for probably 30 people, nice and exclusive!! It had afternoon tea, sandwiches and cake served on a cake stand (quaint) and Cocktails from 5.30 to 7.00pm with nibblely bits. This was a nice touch, the staff here were very attentive, well worth whatever the wife paid!! The hotel is a 20-30 minute taxi ride to the main part of Dubai, can be longer if you go in rush hour (its a 6 lane super highway. There are 2 types of taxi, luxury and normal, as soon as you get into a luxury one its going to cost you £25, the normal ones (a creamy colour) charge about £10-£15 for the journey. For those going to Dubai for the first time, make sure you plan your visit, decide what you want to see and book in the UK if possible. Saying that when we paid for stuff we could use our cards in sterling avoiding charges for exchange rates. Tipping is awkward, we tipped between 10 and 100 for different services, you have to take a view and tip what you think its worth.
Business trip during Dubai Air Show. Got upgraded to suite at checkin. Service, luxury, location....this place had it all! Restaurants, bar, exercise room and other amenities truly make this place earn all its five stars. Will be back!
Stayed for 8 nights in mid-September 2017 in a Executive room. Lovely hotel great location for Mall & metro to visit the sights in Dubai, probably not ideal for a first time visitor. Executive Lounge provided great benefits lovely food with fantastic service from all the staff who made us feel welcome and could not do enough to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Shuttle bus daily to beach club good though very busy on Friday & Saturday so go early. Overall an excellent stay and would recommend to anyone.
I have mentioned it in General section...Worst sitting closet size in the hotel rooms. Tiny toilets...Seeing is believing. when someone sits on the Toilet closet your thighs will be hurting the Paper holder and you have to keep your thighs fully closed tightly...imagine the size of the toilet....just 3 feet only..Horrible experience. Paid AED 1200 for nothing....
This was my second stay at Movenpick battuta gate and I dont think I would want to stay anywhere else .The building is beautiful and it is like located easy walking distance from the metro 15 minute ride to mall of the Emirates and has a massive Mall opposite the hotel .The food is excellent and the staff are all lovely ,kind ,happy and welcoming from house keeping staff through to management . Upgrading to executive it well worth the money as the extra perks are fantastic .I travelled with a friend who had not been to Dubai before and she is already looking for a return trip next year .A special thanks to Patience and Allan in the executive loung for looking after us so well ,to George in house keeping for his smile and chats over breakfast in the mornings and Zahair for our lift back to the airport .All the staff are a credit to the hotel and are a huge reason why I would not stay anywhere else in Dubai .I hope to be back again in a year or two . My only critasism which was my fault is our room was a smoking room which I hand not realised when booking ,as a non smokers I noticed the smell straight away but security unlocked my window which helped get ride of the smell . November is a lovely time of the year to visit for gaurenteed winter sun .
Lovely hotel, clean and all very beautiful. Food great, Friday brunch was fabulous with lots of choice. Really enjoyed our stay. The pool was great too, very attentive staff. Hotel a little out of main tourist areas but being next to the mall and metro was really handy.
Just had a magnificent holiday (7 nights) and would like to thank all of the staff (particularly George, Janice, Anthony, Subhash, Kabita, Patience and Sven) for making it such a wonderful stay. After a rocky start with faulty air conditioning, we were upgraded, which was far beyond our expectations. The rooms were nice, clean and tidy. We had a balcony which was nice. The food was excellent; we ate at: Chor Bazar, Mistral and Sicilia. We were on half-board and both breakfast and evening meal were fantastic, especially the tasting evenings. Make sure you are hungry as you get a lot! A little bit far out but excellent if you want to visit the Guru Nanak Gurdwara, which is only a 10 minute drive away. The hotel is just opposite the Ibn Battuta Mall, so it's great for food and drink for lunch if you are on half-board. Everyone from Management to front desk to the cleaning staff to the restaurant staff made us feel more like family than just some paying guests and we would like to thank them all for their hospitality and making our holiday such a memorable occasion. The staff are a credit to the hotel; keep up the good work! Hopefully, we will be seeing you again next year! (Note - If you're on half-board, be careful on the evenings as in the Chor Bazar we found that only 1 soft drink was included in our package, whereas in Sicilia, we were given a different menu altogether and drinks were extra and happened to be quite small. Similarly, drinks are charged for in Mistral, so this is a little confusing, so ask your server about this. Otherwise an excellent stay!).
