I have mixed feelings about this hotel. When we first came in the front desk did everything right to make us feel at home. It took a while to get our room ready so they upgraded us, found us a chair, brought us coffee, very impressive first experience. The room was clean. However, over our stay, housekeeping wouldn't replace towels, and we had to call several times late one night and wait over an hour to get our towels. We had problems getting towels another day as well. Also, both the shower and the bathtub leaked onto the floor. The hinge partially broke on the shower. On the positive side, the people in the restaurant for breakfast were so nice and helpful. Also, the front desk helped us get a reservation at the Burj al Arab. Toniya on the front desk was very helpful. We did eat at the restaurant one night and the service was horrible, food came out late, one of our group received his food 30 minutes after everyone else. All and all, I would probably go back, my wife would not.
This is not my first time to stay in this hotel. My first time brings me to come back again which i decided to bring my friends on my special day. I was so feel welcome to received warm greetings of ms.toniya knowing my birthday today when i check in. I said, yes! I reply that's the reason why i want to spend it here. Few hours come, shankar from room service send me a very sweet chocolate cake with a warm greetings from anna (GM). My friends and me were enjoying alot to share the cake. The staff were very friendly, helpful and approachable specially Aditya who always look after us whenever we need something. And again, i got my second cake after our dinner. It was so touching moments thst makes memorable experience. We twice made our iftar in sobo which the food were really high lighted excellent. I have some small issue only on our first day of stay regardless of the a/c but the moment i call from the operator they immediately send someone to fix it. The room is nice and clean. samitha from housekeeing who look after to clean our room. Overall, my friends and I enjoying alot during of our 2 days holiday. Thank you so much guys for your great service.
Visited with family for a few days. Had a great stay conveniently located to walk to a few shops and restaurants. Food in hotel excellent, staff so friendly and helpful, especially the staff in the breakfast buffet restaurant. Free wifi. Rooms clean and comfy. Pool nice for a dip. Would definitely recommend and would definitely come back
We have stayed at the Courtyard Green Community several times in the past few years however this was the 1st time in the apartments. We love the area around Jebel Ali as it is away from the main tourist area and many days we have the pool to ourselves. The hotel lobby has been changed since we were here last - not my taste however, clean and functional and I suppose many would say more modern. The same however cannot be said for the apartments - they were very tired looking and in need of a refurbishment. We will return as I like the However we would avoid the apartments and opt for the main hotel. Although we did not eat in the restaurant in the evening, we did have breakfast each morning they do a reasonably priced buffet if required however my husband and I usually opt for the a la cartel menu The stand out for me at this hotel is the staff, they are so friendly and and accommodating have been since Indus first visit and is one of the reasons we will definitely return
I've stayed in this hotel for 3 months while working in Dubai and I can honestly say it seems like home from home. I spend a lot of time, (and money) in the bar when not working and always get great service and made to feel very welcome. I'd like to personally mention and thank ROBIN, LEVENTE, PRASHANT and ROSE for all there hard work and friendly service, they always greeted me with a smile and had some good times up there with them! Being away from my wife while working in Dubai was hard but it was made so much more easier by the bar staff so thank you guys. I was also over the moon with my apartment, I had a nice big balcony overlooking the lake with all great modern amenities. My room was serviced to a excellent standard and the wifi was very quick with no issues. I will definitely be staying at this hotel when I return to Dubai. Thank you Marriott courtyard!
My friend and I decided to dine at Cucina since it was nearby our place and I've been dining there several times. The ambiance is relaxing and peaceful with the weather now in UAE makes it perfect! We ordered Salmonata Pizza as I am always having it whenever I am there. In fact, I am insisting to my friend to order that because I want her to try the taste my favorite. When the food came, the pizza crust was not that hot and looks like it was ready long time ago before being brought to our table. The portion of salmon being served was less, and it was like the chef was in hurry doing that order because he did not distributed the salmon on the whole pizza so we have to get salmon to other parts of the pizza. I called our server to ask why the amount of salmon in the pizza was less compared to the ones that I am having before. She left and came back with an answer that it will cost 10 AED for additional salmon. I told her I have eaten there before and the salmon portion given was a lot. She just kept quiet and left without apologizing. She came again in our table and my friend informed her that one ketchup on the table was open. She grab the ketchup and left without even saying sorry. She came back and put the new ketchup and left! She did not even say an excuse that she needs to place the ketchup in the table while we are eating. No Manager came to our table to check our satisfactory or even the headwaiter maybe. I saw the Manager roaming around the restaurant and does not even bother to speak to us. It's a shame for a Marriott brand to have this kind of service.
the hotel is average. its's good for young couples or business men who have meeting in DIP & don't want to loose time crossing Dubai. it's boring as there's no entertainment in the hotel or even close.
I visited this hotel some time ago so my review is anything by a recent! The location isn't exactly helpful unless you commute to Jafza a lot then in that case it's perfect. Rooms were okay, the food was not bad at all. All in all I'd give it 7/10!!
Booked an apartment but ended up staying in the hotel as they had double booked us! The hotel manager was very good at sorting things out and tried his best to rectify the problem. The hotel is quite far from the city so we used taxis and the metro to get about.
The Marriot Executive Apartments in the Green Community was somewhat disappointing. We have stayed at the Courtyard Hotel which is on the same property before and have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This time around our disappointment began with us not getting the two bedroomed apartment we had booked months in advance. We were told on arrival that the apartment we had booked was not available. No proper explanation was given. We were given two one bedroomed apartments next to each other but it created a disconnected feeling with our teenage children. On entering our room we found a large machine presumably still "aerating" the room. The bathrooms needed attention Moulds, dirty grouting, etc.) and room service was definitely not according to our expectations. Just about the only thing done by room service was basic cleaning of the bathrooms and making of the beds. The rest was pretty much left as is - even dirty dishes. Only afterwards did we learn that housekeeping does not work on certain days. The only jewel in it all was the Italian head chef at Cucina. He prepared a special meat dish for us after having heard we spent the last ten days eating seafood only in Thailand. Finally, during our prior stay navigating around Dubai from this base was easy. Since then, driving to the souks is a little more complicated unless you take the hotel shuttle to Emirates mall and then take the train from there to the Souks. Everything considered, there is now probably more convenient stay options available in Dubai - more importantly, our stay in this hotel was very much an anti-climax relative to the cheapest hotel we stayed at in Bangkok to prior to arriving in Dubai.
