I stayed at this hotel with my 53-year-old mother, and it was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had.
From the beginning, the staff was indifferent and unhelpful. Requests were ignored, responses were delayed, and basic hospitality was clearly not a priority. But what happened on our last night crossed from “bad service” into genuinely dangerous.
The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. Twice. No announcement, no explanation, no staff guidance. Absolute silence from the hotel. To make it worse, when we tried to leave the building, we realized the fire exit was locked. Let that sink in.
We were terrified. My mother has high blood pressure, and both of us ended up having panic attacks. This was not a minor inconvenience; it was a serious safety issue. When we complained and asked for a refund for the last night, the staff did not take us seriously at all. They mocked us. They laughed behind our backs.
I tried to call the police but couldn’t reach anyone. I asked the staff to call the police for us. They refused. No help, no concern, no professionalism. Not even an apology.
We received no compensation, no comfort, no acknowledgment that what happened was unacceptable. A locked fire exit and staff who treat guests’ fear as a joke is beyond unacceptable. This place is unsafe, and I would never recommend it to anyone, especially families or elderly guests.
